So…this is sort of crazy but this shop just fixed something that my doctor couldn’t and I had no idea it was going to happen. I had wanted to get a basic septum piercing and everything went fine, I have a low pain tolerance but they were patient with the process. But aside from that: I have had difficulty breathing out of one side of my nose for 6+ years, and this morning I wake up: clean the piercing, and suddenly realize I can breathe out of both sides???? I don't know what to say since that’s such an unusual side effect but…thank you lol!

Taylor and his apprentice Abigail were both wonderful . My body piercing is better than expected and was informed and comfortable whole time . They even give out cool little ducks to put on your dashboard . 🩵

I was taken to Gemini Tattoo by my best friend way back in 2009 to get my first tattoo. We’d gone to dinner at Bahama Breeze in Towson and decided (after 2 bahamaritas) to finally go get those BFF tattoos we’d been talking about since 8th grade. So as we are walking towards the door to Gemini it starts to snow; apparently a big blizzard was coming! We met Gale at the door and asked if she was ok with us having the work done then or if she wanted to close up because of the storm. She assured us multiple times that it was fine and she’d be glad to do them, especially once she heard that this would be my very first tattoo. I’d brought my own design that I’d researched for years so I was super excited, especially since we’d chosen Gemini for Gale, who was the first female artist in Maryland, so a part of history would be doing my artwork! What followed was excruciating. Gale dug the gun into me so forcefully I kept sliding out of the chair; many times I had to grab the armrests and have her stop so I could slide all the way back into the chair. There were about 5 or 6 times I got dizzy and started to black out and she would stop and get me a popsicle before we’d continue. I figured this was how getting a tattoo was like (what did I know, it was my first time) and was just very concerned that it had been such an ordeal. After it was done it was my friend’s turn. She was wide-eyed and tried to politely back out (she had a few tattoos by then and clearly didn’t like what she saw happen to me) but I begged her and she got hers done too. Gale didn’t push with her, she didn’t keep sliding out of the chair, and my friend said hers felt normal. We thanked Gale, I tipped her generously, and we left. A few weeks later, after all the aquafor and cling wrap and the healing was pretty much done I noticed that my tattoo was bumpy and raised. I asked my friend if that was normal (hers wasn’t doing that) and she admitted that she didn’t want to get her tattoo because Gale had torn into me like a wolf into veal and that, no, it wasn’t normal, that I was scarring because of how Gale had carved into me with all her strength. To this day my tattoo is in braille. I wanted more tattoos but have been scarred (literally) and am really scared the next person is going to carve into me, too. I see that Gale has a lot of positive feedback and I’m glad about that; I just could never understand why she was so brutal when she worked on me. I was raised to say Please and Thank You, say ma’am or sir, and follow the golden rule, so I can’t imagine it would’ve been anything I said or did. I don’t want to come off as vindictive or whiney; a friend literally just suggested I write a review all these years later and I felt so blown away that that had never even occurred to me 🤦🏼‍♂️ I’ve added photos of me in my 20’s with it right before it began to bubble up (directly after I didn’t need to put aquafor on it anymore) and from tonight (11/17/2024). I’ve never had any other work done to it and obviously I can never have it touched up with all the scar tissue. Luckily the bonus of her digging into me so hard is she left A LOT of ink in there so it hasn’t faded too too much in 16 years. That was my experience. I wish it had been better but hopefully no one else had anything similar happen. Maybe one day I’ll overcome my fear and get another spot of ink… 🥺

I was here for my tattoo and i was 100% satisfied with it by the quality of work and the price. where my tattoo was very complex with the design but “JOHN” who was my tattoo artist very talented and his wife “MELINA” they are very talented they give their 100% and they exceed your expectations. If you want a tattoo i would definitely recommend them for you.

Great place, excellent experience and a friendly staff!! Me and my family went and had matching tattoos done and from the moment we walked in the customer service was amazing. John approached me and my sister in law, we explained what we were looking for and he drew up exactly what we wanted. He was very gentle with his tattoo, reassuring, thorough and sanitary. Once we were done, my husband and mother in law came in 20mins later to get theirs done based in what we told them about John and the work he did from me and my sis in law. I would highly recommend going visit this shop if you are looking for a great experience. John was absolutely amazing!!! You should definitely ask for him.
