One comprehensive review immediately highlights the versatility and expertise offered at Worn Well Tattoos. This suggests that Jarrett possesses a wide range of skills and is capable of tackling diverse tattoo projects, catering to various client needs and preferences. The reviewer describes Jarrett as "one of the most knowledgeable, professional & respectful tattoo artists around," emphasizing not only his artistic abilities but also his conduct and expertise within the industry. This level of professionalism can instill confidence in both first-time and experienced tattoo clients.

The environment of Worn Well Tattoos is also lauded in the review. The reviewer states that "just walking into Worn Well proves it" that Jarrett is exceptional. They describe the space as "a clean, beautiful space with a piece of tattoo history every where you look." This paints a picture of a studio that is not only hygienic and aesthetically pleasing but also deeply connected to the art form itself, potentially creating an inspiring and authentic atmosphere for clients. The presence of "tattoo history" throughout the studio suggests a reverence for the craft and a rich artistic environment that can enhance the overall experience.

The reviewer further emphasizes that "whether it’s your first tattoo or you’ve been collecting all of your life, you cant go wrong when you book an appointment with Jarrett." This inclusive statement suggests that Jarrett is adept at working with clients of all experience levels, providing a comfortable and positive experience regardless of their tattoo journey. This adaptability and welcoming approach are crucial for building trust and long-lasting client relationships.

Another detailed review provides a narrative of the client's experience getting a complex full sleeve tattoo from Jarrett, offering further insights into his artistic process and the shop's atmosphere. The reviewer recounts becoming familiar with Jarrett's skills through a "SICK Princess Mononoke sleeve" on someone else, which speaks to the impressive quality of his previous work and his ability to handle intricate and visually striking designs.

The reviewer, traveling from Columbus to Sandusky, presented Jarrett with a "rather loaded request for a sleeve: Ascending timeline of Samurai and their battles, techniques, weapons... capping it off with a final stand/transition into the firearm age." This complex and detailed request demonstrates the client's trust in Jarrett's ability to conceptualize and execute ambitious projects. The reviewer notes that Jarrett took measurements and drew up a concept that was described as "SICK," indicating a strong initial artistic vision and the ability to translate the client's complex ideas into a compelling design.

Interestingly, Jarrett also showed consideration for the practical aspects of the project, expressing concerns regarding the workspace (small arm) and the amount of detail involved. This honesty and attention to detail demonstrate his professionalism and commitment to ensuring a high-quality outcome, even if it requires careful planning and consideration of potential challenges.

The reviewer then highlights Jarrett's personalized approach. Throughout the initial process, Jarrett got to know the client better and subsequently presented a revised design based on their conversations. The client's reaction, "LET ME TELL YOU, it was definitely the right decision," underscores Jarrett's ability to listen to and understand his clients' preferences, even refining his initial concept to better align with their vision. This iterative and collaborative approach is a significant feature of Jarrett's service.

The ongoing nature of the project (three months in at the time of the review) allows the client to offer further insights into Jarrett's character and the shop's vibe. The reviewer states that Jarrett "continues to be an awesome artist and friend," highlighting not only his artistic talent but also his personable nature and ability to build rapport with clients. The reviewer also mentions a sign in the shop that reads "Come as a stranger, leave a friend," and notes that it "fits the vibe he creates." This further emphasizes the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of Worn Well Tattoos, suggesting that clients can expect a positive and comfortable experience beyond just the tattoo itself. The presence of "plethora of art on the walls" also contributes to the unique and inspiring environment of the studio.

The reviewer also provides a concise summary of the pros and cons of Worn Well Tattoos. The pros include "Magnificent Artist's" (plural, although Jarrett is the only artist specifically mentioned in detail), "Great location in Sandusky," "Unmatched shop vibes," and being "Very clean." These points reiterate the key strengths of the studio: exceptional artistic talent, a convenient location, a unique and positive atmosphere, and a commitment to hygiene.

The only con listed by the reviewer is their 2.5-hour distance from the shop, which is not a reflection on the studio itself but rather a testament to the quality of service that makes it worth traveling for. This indirectly reinforces the high regard in which Worn Well Tattoos and Jarrett are held.

Based on the provided reviews, the environment of Worn Well Tattoos is clean, beautiful, and filled with pieces of tattoo history and other art, creating a unique and inspiring atmosphere. The Journey: I became familiar with Jarrett's skills when I met the other half and she had a SICK Princess Mononoke sleeve circa 2023. Fast forward to December 2025 and we find out he is opening a cozy shop in Sandusky, needless to say we had to make a visit from Columbus. The Job: I showed up to Worn Well Tattoos and hit Jarrett with a rather loaded request for a sleeve: Ascending timeline of Samurai and their battles, techniques, weapons (ADHD rabbit hole got deep), capping it off with a final stand/transition into the firearm age....This Legend got the measurements and went to work, drew up the concept (It was SICK) but had some concerns regarding the workspace (small arm probs) and the amount of detail. Throughout the process he got to know me a little bit more and came back with a "Let me know what you think of this design based on our conversations this might be the one".......LET ME TELL YOU, it was definitely the right decision. So we are now three months into the project, Jarrett continues to be an awesome artist and friend. I believe a sign exists in the shop "Come as a stranger, leave a friend" and it fits the vibe he creates. Go look for it amongst the plethora of art on the walls. *Picture note* - still a WIP, stoked for some color soon For those who didn't want to read about how awesome the shop is: Pros: Magnificent Artist's Great location in Sandusky Unmatched shop vibes Very clean Cons: I live 2.5 hours away

I’ve been getting tattooed by Jarrett for 8 years now, and I couldn’t be more proud of him for opening his own shop. He’s not just my tattoo artist; he’s a lifelong friend. I’ll never forget when I first walked into a tat shop back in Columbus, where he was working at the time, wanting a full sleeve, and he was the only one who stepped up to do it right then and there. After that first session, I knew I’d found an artist for life. Regarding his art, the photos speak for themselves. I currently have two sleeves, a chest piece, a stomach peice, and two leg tattoos from him, and I'm not stopping there. I'm personally only into black and gray tattoos, but I have seen many of his tattoos in color on different clients of his and they are just as amazing. He is always spot on when it comes to the placement of a partiular tattoo. At this point, I just say "put it where you think it would look best" and I have complete faith in him to have it come out awesome. I have varying sizes of tattoos from him, but I do know that Jarrett likes taking on large peices and he truly enjoys the long sessions that accompany them. What sets him apart is how much he cares about the experience. He’s not in it just for the money; he truly wants you to love your tattoo and the time spent getting it. He has always made me feel safe and comfortable when getting tattooed. His new shop in Sandusky is no different—spotless, well-decorated, organized, and full of laughs and good times. I still reside in Columbus, but I’ve got no problem making the 2 hour drive to Sandusky because I know the work and atmosphere are worth it. I’ve followed him around from shop to shop in Columbus without hesitation, and no matter where I go in public, I’m constantly getting compliments on his work. He’s one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met, and I’m honored to call him not only my artist but a close friend. If you’re looking for someone who pours everything into their art and the experience, you won’t find anyone better than Jarrett Ward.

I absolutely love working with Jarrett. He creates such a welcoming, fun, and laid-back environment while maintaining professional and personable appeal. His shop is always so organized, clean, and full of incredible art and plants. He helped me design my first sleeve and fully designed my second one, and I still can’t decide which one I like more! He even did a few coverups along the way. I still consistently get compliments and positive feedback on my sleeves, specifically on his vibrant color work, even after two years. I can’t even imagine getting tattooed by anyone else!
