Wildside Piercing Introduce

For local residents in Rochester, NY, seeking body art services under the platform category "Tattoo Shops Near Me" (often encompassing piercing studios), Wildside Piercing, located at 1225 Jefferson Rd, Rochester, NY 14623, presents itself as a local option for piercing needs. However, it's important for potential customers to consider the information available from online reviews to form an informed opinion about the services and practices at this establishment.

One customer shared a negative experience regarding a nose piercing they received at Wildside Piercing. This individual, who already had multiple facial piercings and understood the healing process, reported significant issues following their visit. Specifically, they mentioned that their newly redone nose piercing began dripping blood for an hour only three days after the procedure. Additionally, they experienced excessive swelling and soreness, preventing them from changing the jewelry to a surgical steel stud, which they deemed more appropriate for healing. This customer expressed concern about the quality of the jewelry used by Wildside Piercing, suggesting it may have contributed to the adverse reaction. They also felt the prices were too high, especially given their perception of the jewelry's low quality. The severity of the bleeding and swelling, in the absence of any prior history of such issues, raises a red flag regarding the piercing procedure or the materials used.

Another customer offered a more mixed review of their experience at Wildside Piercing. While they noted that their own eyebrow piercing was done by a "wonderful" piercer, they also pointed out two significant concerns. Firstly, they stated that their eyebrow piercing was done "wrong" and was visibly off-center. This indicates a potential issue with the piercer's accuracy or attention to detail during the procedure, which could lead to aesthetic dissatisfaction for clients. Secondly, this reviewer strongly cautioned against using the aftercare cleaner provided by Wildside Piercing. They identified it as simply a sea salt solution mixed with water, which they deemed inadequate compared to commercially prepared piercing cleaners that often contain other beneficial ingredients and are formulated for optimal healing. The reviewer shared that their piercing was not healing well and was exhibiting signs of infection (green goo) while using the Wildside Piercing cleaner. However, they reported significant improvement after switching to a "real piercing cleaner." This suggests that the aftercare advice and products offered by Wildside Piercing may not be conducive to proper healing and could potentially lead to complications.

Furthermore, the second reviewer advised individuals with sensitivities to certain metals, such as face gold, to avoid getting piercings at Wildside Piercing due to their claim that the "piercing material is fake." This is a serious concern, as using non-biocompatible or low-quality jewelry can lead to allergic reactions, irritation, prolonged healing times, and even infections. The reviewer concluded by suggesting that while Wildside Piercing was an "okay place" overall, it might be better to seek out studios that use higher-quality materials, even if they are more expensive, to ensure a better and safer piercing experience.

Considering these reviews, it's challenging to provide a purely positive introduction to Wildside Piercing for local users. While one reviewer had a positive experience with the piercer who did their eyebrow, the significant issues raised by both reviews regarding jewelry quality, potential inaccuracies in piercing placement, and inadequate aftercare advice are serious points of concern for anyone considering getting a piercing at this location.

The environment of Wildside Piercing is not explicitly described in detail in these reviews, beyond one reviewer stating it was an "okay place." There is no mention of the studio's cleanliness, ambiance, or overall professionalism, aside from the specific issues encountered. This lack of positive commentary on the environment, coupled with the negative feedback on service aspects, does not paint a particularly reassuring picture.

The services offered by Wildside Piercing clearly include various types of body piercings, as evidenced by the mentions of nose and eyebrow piercings. However, the specific range of piercings offered (e.g., ear, lip, navel, etc.) and the types of jewelry available (beyond the concerns about quality) are not detailed in these reviews. Potential customers would need to inquire directly with the studio for a comprehensive list of their services and jewelry options.

Features of Wildside Piercing, based on these reviews, are difficult to ascertain positively. The one positive aspect mentioned was the "wonderful" piercer who performed an eyebrow piercing, although even this experience was marred by the incorrect placement. The negative features that emerge are the potential use of low-quality jewelry, inaccurate piercing placement, and the provision of ineffective aftercare advice. These are significant drawbacks that potential clients should carefully consider.

There is no information available in these reviews regarding any promotional offers or special deals that Wildside Piercing might be running. Local users interested in potential discounts or promotions would need to contact the studio directly.

In conclusion, for local residents in Rochester, NY, searching within the "Tattoo Shops Near Me" category for piercing services, Wildside Piercing at 1225 Jefferson Rd is an option to consider. However, the available customer reviews raise significant concerns regarding the quality of jewelry used, potential inaccuracies in piercing placement, and the effectiveness of the aftercare advice provided. While one reviewer had a positive interaction with a piercer, these positives are overshadowed by the reported issues. Potential clients are strongly advised to weigh these concerns carefully and perhaps seek out other piercing studios in the area that may have more consistently positive feedback regarding jewelry quality, piercing accuracy, and aftercare guidance. It would be prudent to inquire directly with Wildside Piercing about their jewelry materials, piercer qualifications, and aftercare protocols before making a decision.

So i came here on Friday and got the left side of my nose re-done (i have my septum and right side pierced for over two years, i know how to heal a piercing) i knew the lady was lying about the quality of the jewelry, normally my body doesn’t have an issue but it’s been three days my nose piercing started dripping blood for an hour and is way to swollen/sore to change it into a proper surgical steel nose stud. Their prices are way to high especially since they don’t use quality jewelry, My nose should not be DRIPPING BLOOD FOR AN HOUR when i have no history of nose bleeds or anything like this happening before.

This place was an okay place. I did take a friend there and she didn’t have a good experience. But it was alright with me. The person that did mine eye brow piercing was wonderful. But there are two things. 1. They did do my eye brow piercing wrong it was off a bit 2. Don’t use there cleaner they give you it’s just sea salt. Yea a lot of the cleaner In other places give you are sea salt and stuff but there really mixed well and it has other cleaning stuff in it. What they give you is just sea salt and they tell you to mix it into water (that’s not good cleaning material). After using there stuff to clean my Piercing it wasn’t really healing and green goo was coming out. But not even a day After I used real Piercing cleaner it was looking really good. So note use real cleaner and not just salt and water. Also if you are Sensitive to face gold and Such don’t get them here only because there Piercing material is fake. So over all it’s a good place but go somewhere where they have good stuff. If it’s pricey, it’s better

My sister and I found this place a couple of weeks ago and went in today to start a venture on piercings. Today, I got an upper lope of ear. Very nice place and people. very clean and very inviting.

honestly i went here with high hopes because it was a really nice location, but out of the THREE piercings i got here only one was able to heal fully. the others got super infected and had to be removed. the piercings i had to remove were my bellybutton and cartilage. when i took out the jewelry i realized why they didn’t heal.. the jewelry was cheap!! it was extremely corroded and discolored after being in my body for 2-3 months. not only was the jewelry low quality, the woman there criticized me for not taking care of my piercings because i used saline instead of ocean sea salt. although ocean sea salt is a good substitute for saline, they don’t tell you it needs to be mixed with distilled and bottled water!! NOT tap. all they said was to mix the sea salt with water. disappointing.

this place was wildly disappointing. my friend and i went in july to get piercings. she got her conch pierced and i got my tragus. first let’s talk about the tragus. she pierced it at an angle so it was impossible to heal. almost immediately it was infected. the lobe was huge. the jewelry was not medical grade like they claimed it was, and when i went to a different piercing shop they took one look at it and told me to immediately take it out. for the conch, the metal rusted in her ear. we both had keloids. for both of us the metal was warped when we took them out. aftercare instructions were just “put salt water on it” and turn the jewelry when you clean it, and if you have any sort of piercings you know that’s immediately wrong. all i gotta say is if you’re in henrietta and you want a piercing go to ultimate piercing and tattoos.
