I cannot say enough about my amazing experience at Wander In Ink. The shop overall is very clean, comfortable, and has cultivated a wonderful collection of amazing artists who do a variety of styles. Specifically with my artist, Stone was a professional in every sense of the word. He was kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process (always checking on my comfort). From our initial contact where I showed him some references/ ideas of what I liked, to his creativity and artistry in putting those abstract ideas together to design my own unique and beautiful tattoo, it was hands down an incredible session. Thank you!

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserves a whole paragraph (or three). From the moment I walked into the shop, the vibe was just right — laid-back, welcoming, and super clean. What really set the tone, though, was the hilarious conversation I had with the artist. We were cracking jokes, sharing wild stories, and laughing to the point I almost forgot I was getting a needle poked into me. Almost. Now let’s talk about the tattoo itself — I’m still obsessing over it. The level of detail and effort that went into the effects and shading was top-tier. You can literally see the depth and motion in the design. The colors he used are vibrant but not overpowering, and the blending? Chef’s kiss. It healed beautifully and hasn’t lost an ounce of that “fresh ink” look. He clearly knows how to balance being a total pro with making you feel like you’re just hanging out with an old friend. I came in with a vision, and he turned it into something even better than I imagined. 10/10 would get stabbed by tiny needles again.also Stone AOT is my new favorite :).

My tattoo experience with Stone was phenomenal to say the least. He is extremely clean, professional and personable. He’s such a good listener and can really bring your tattoo idea to life!!! Definitely the place to go in Memphis. UPDATE: I came back to finish my leg sleeve and once again he killed. We added a mecha-samurai on my shin. Can’t wait to come back for the other half! Seriously check him out.

I had some friends in town earlier this week for a girls trip. We decided we wanted to go ahead and get small tattoos together since we can’t get together often. We booked our appointment the night before, but realized we may need to shift the appointments due to the snow coming in. We were instantly rescheduled two hours earlier than our original appointment with no hesitation or irritation. When we got to the shop we were INSTANTLY comfortable. Nat and Stone were there, and I have never had such a fun session. They were both personable, professional, yet we still felt like we were just hanging out with old friends. The vibes were perfect. Something small that really stuck out to us was the fully stocked bathroom with multiple hygiene items. That may not seem huge, but I had realized I had never been to a shop that thought of that. Having a black owned and female led (and stone ❤️) shop really showed me what other shops are missing. We had an absolute blast and honestly the atmosphere made the experience even better. What an incredible group and experience. THANK. YOU. We will definitely be back to see yall and I will recommend anyone who asks for a shop! You made our last couple of hours together so fun and loving. You can tell everyone enjoyed what they do and that they care about the atmosphere AND the work they provide.

Had a wonderful experience at wander in ink. Stone was able to execute my idea perfectly. He drew up a sketch and modified it to my liking, was incredibly warm and welcoming. The shop was very clean and everything done in a sterile and professional manner. Everyone in the shop was so lovely to chat with and a great distraction while getting tattooed. My husband was even able to get a tattoo during my session ! Definitely coming back here for future tattoos ! Hi! Review #2 this is the third time coming to the shop. Stone’s out of town so I chatted with Tori to set up an apt for my husband and I. (We’ve talked previously at other apts and she did my friends tattoo) it was super easy to book, chat with Tori via Instagram to explain what we were looking for. The shop itself super clean and they follow all the protocols of doing everything in a sterile / sanitary way. Tori is a perfectionist who took her time to make sure the tattoo was perfect before starting. The vibes are immaculate as always, great playlist, there’s even a blanket to use while getting tattooed (I forget how to gets chilly ) fruit snacks, water and after care instructions/ supplies for aftercare so can take care of your new art.
