I went here in mid August right after my mom passed away to get a tattoo. The team here was so friendly, empathetic, and professional. It was clearly a very emotionally charged time for me, and they worked with me to get the tattoo correctly. Fast Forward to today - I ended up getting a piercing elsewhere (definitely my mistake) and I had a few questions and was looking to purchase a different ring, the woman working today was so friendly and helpful. I didn't even need to buy another nose ring, but I will definitely go back there for any other needs I have. The shop store front looks small, but it's clean, and everyone there just wants to help you. I HIGHLY recommend going here over other places.

I went to Village Tattoo just for the sake of getting my helix piercing checked (I got pierced elsewhere) and wanted to see if it was something I should be concerned about (I thought it was infected). The staff are super friendly and they said they would do what they can to save my piercing. They were really helpful and explained why my piercing became so irritated and explained how to properly take care of the piercing as well. Their pricing is super reasonable as well and I was able to get my piercing properly cleaned, replaced, and got new jewelry and cleaning supplies for less than 100 dollars. Fast forward a month and a half and my piercing has never felt better. Highly recommend this place for expert knowledge on piercings and friendly staff!

Have been coming here for 10+ years! My husband and I have been inked by Chris many times in the past- his work is phenomenal! Highly recommend, owner and staff members are super nice/accommodating with super fair/ethical pricing and clean environment.

I came back to Village Tattoo after not getting any new piercings for many years, and was delighted to discover that the piercer I had way back then still works here!! Shout-out to Mooshu, he's amazing and will take great care of you :) They have a good selection of hypoallergenic jewelry (gold or titanium). Pricing is fair and they make sure you have everything you need for good aftercare!

Dez was an incredible piercer! He made my nose piercing super quick and easy and was very funny and chill, one of my best piercing experiences overall for sure. Everyone that worked there was super kind, knowledgeable, and inviting and if i ever want to get pierced in nyc again i’d absolutely come back here!
