Tacoma's Best Piercing Introduce

For individuals in Tacoma, Washington, and the surrounding areas searching within the "Tattoo Shops Near Me" category for body piercing services, Tacoma's Best Piercing, located at 1620 S Mildred St Ste 3, Tacoma, WA 98465, USA, presents itself as an option. To provide a comprehensive and objective overview, it's essential to consider the various aspects of their service as reflected in customer feedback available online.

Regarding the environment, one positive review highlights a seemingly pleasant experience, mentioning that the reviewer, their wife, and a friend all had their ears pierced there with positive outcomes. This suggests a potentially welcoming and comfortable setting for clients undergoing piercing procedures. However, another review paints a less favorable picture, describing a "fast food vibe" where the focus might be on speed rather than personalized customer service. This discrepancy indicates that individual experiences with the studio environment may vary.

In terms of services, Tacoma's Best Piercing offers a range of body piercing procedures. The positive review mentions helix and conch piercings performed by an artist named Mitch, who is described as "super awesome and really friendly" and effective in putting the client at ease. Another artist, Fezzie, also received positive feedback for being "awesome and fun to talk to." These accounts suggest that the studio employs piercers who are not only skilled but also have positive interpersonal skills, contributing to a pleasant piercing experience for some clients. However, a contrasting review details a negative experience with a nostril piercing where a short initial post was used, allegedly hindering proper healing. This suggests potential inconsistencies in the piercers' judgment regarding appropriate jewelry for initial piercings.

Features of Tacoma's Best Piercing include the provision of aftercare instructions and recommended cleaning products, as mentioned in one positive review. Additionally, they offer a "free 2 month checkup," which is a commendable feature indicating a degree of follow-up care. The "goodie bags" mentioned in the same review also add a small, positive touch to the overall experience for some customers. However, the negative review concerning the improperly sized initial jewelry and the subsequent lack of supportive customer service significantly detracts from these seemingly positive features. The refusal to provide a longer post without additional cost to a client experiencing healing issues due to an initial error raises concerns about their commitment to customer satisfaction and proper piercing aftercare.

Regarding promotional information, the provided text does not explicitly mention any ongoing sales or discounts. However, the positive experience shared by one reviewer highlights the perceived value of their services and the added touches like the goodie bag and free checkup. Conversely, the negative review implicitly suggests that despite spending a significant amount (nearly $200), the customer did not receive the expected level of care or support when an issue arose due to a potential error on the piercer's part. This lack of a "let's make it right" attitude could be a significant deterrent for potential customers.

To further analyze the services, it's important to note the conflicting experiences. While some clients found the piercers friendly and the process smooth, others encountered issues with the piercing itself and the subsequent customer service. The discrepancy in the initial jewelry size for a nostril piercing, as reported in one review, is a serious concern as it directly impacts the healing process. Proper initial jewelry length is crucial to accommodate swelling and prevent complications. The refusal to rectify this potential error without additional cost and the lack of accountability, as described by the dissatisfied customer, indicate a significant lapse in customer service and a potential disregard for ensuring proper healing for their clients.

The review describing a "fast food vibe" suggests a potentially rushed environment where the focus might be on throughput rather than individual attention and care. This could explain the alleged oversight in choosing the correct jewelry size. While efficiency is appreciated, it should not come at the expense of proper technique and customer well-being. The lack of support when something goes wrong, as explicitly stated in one negative review, is a serious red flag for potential clients who value aftercare support and a business that stands by its services.

The mention of belonging to a piercing association in one of the negative reviews does not seem to have translated into a positive customer experience in that instance. Affiliations with professional organizations can indicate a commitment to certain standards, but ultimately, the quality of service and customer care are paramount. The stark contrast between the positive and negative reviews suggests that experiences at Tacoma's Best Piercing can be inconsistent, and potential clients should weigh these differing perspectives carefully.

In conclusion, Tacoma's Best Piercing offers body piercing services in Tacoma, WA, with some customers reporting positive experiences, particularly with piercers Mitch and Fezzie, the smooth piercing process, and the added features like goodie bags and free checkups. However, there are significant concerns raised in other reviews regarding long wait times, potential errors in piercing technique (such as using improperly sized initial jewelry), and a lack of adequate and supportive customer service when issues arise. The description of a "fast food vibe" also suggests a potentially rushed environment that may not prioritize individual attention to detail and aftercare. Potential clients should carefully consider these contrasting experiences when deciding whether Tacoma's Best Piercing is the right choice for their body piercing needs and may want to seek further information or recent reviews before making a decision.

My wife, a friend, and I have all gotten our ears pierced there, and it's been great. I was pierced by Mitch, and the others were by Fezzie. I got a helix and conch piercing. Mitch was super awesome and really friendly. He put me at ease, and it went amazingly smoothly. From what I was told, Fezzie was also awesome and fun to talk to. The goodie bags are also super cute, and the fact they do a free 2 month checkup is super cool. Highly recommend!

I found this place online with tons of good reviews, so I made an appointment to get my nostril pierced. I sat in the lobby for well over 30 minutes while people that came after me were done before me. When my piercer did finally come grab me, they did a fine job with the appointment, they were very polite, however a short post, 8mm was used for the initial piercing. This didn't allow for proper healing, and it was clear i should have had a longer post to account for the swelling. After 3-4 weeks of not healing properly, I reached out to the business to ask about getting a longer post, since I should have had one at the time of the appointment. Unfortunately, the person I emailed did not take any accountability for the error and told me if I wanted to purchase a longer post, it would cost me extra. There was no customer service, no "let's make it right" attitude, even though I spent nearly $200 on this piercing, and it was not healing properly through no fault of my own. Needless to say, I did not go back to them to replace the post. Instead, I went where I should have gone from the very beginning - Brass Monkey Tattoo on 6th Ave. The piercer was great and I will be going there for all my piercing needs. If you want a fast food vibe piercing place where they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible with as little customer service as they can, this is the place. If something goes wrong, don't expect any support or solution. Steer clear of this place. I don't care what piercing association they belong to, this place sucks at the basics of piercing and customer service.

All the staff here are great and very friendly! I have had 2 piercings done with Eloise in the last 3 weeks and they are AMAZING! They are friendly and kind, the process is quick and smooth. Every step of the way is explained and I never felt uncomfortable or on edge. They really calmed my nerves before the piercing! Would HIGHLY recommend an appointment with Eloise! I know I'll be back!

I loved it here, very friendly staff and a great jewelry selection. It's my first time visiting and I couldn't ask for a better atmosphere I think this is going to be my preferred parlor 👌🏾 Eloise was really wonderful to work with too both as a person and as a piercing experience. I heard high nostrils were supposed to hurt a lot but i barely felt it for the most part, they've got the magic touch ✨

After searching for places to take my son to get his earlobes pierced we chose this location because of the reviews, despite the costs being much higher than other places. We traveled from Auburn, so pretty far. When we walked in there was an employee at the cash register who never acknowledged us or made eye contact for almost five minutes. Another employee was working with another customer, understandable. When she finished up she helped us. Still the other employee never said anything. Which all was needed is “someone will be with you in a few minutes” The employee that did help us said “do you have an appointment?” No- I saw on their website they allow walk ins. To which she replied “I’ll have to see if I have anytime for you guys” she did say yes, but it would be a 15 minute wait. However, my son was not able to get his ears pierced because their policy is you need your photo id in hand, not a picture. I also had my parental paperwork. Their website does not specify physical copy of ID. We had everything they requested and more but were denied service. I understand the owner may state in the response “our policy is to see the actual physical ID” they should update their website then. I had a photo of my ID which I showed and additional parental documentation. We went to Claire’s, 7 minutes away. Spent half the cost, had no wait, no pain during piercing, great customer service and it looks fantastic. They checked my photo ID from my phone which was sufficient for their policies. Total with tax for two lobe piercings was $70 plus 20% additional jewelry. Surgical steel and good quality material was used. I recommend this business much more for all the reasons listed above.
