I can't recommend South Main enough! I've been pierced by Stacy and Veronica, and I've had jewelry changes done by Riley, and each experience has been smooth and hassle-free. They are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always take the time to answer any questions. One of the things I really appreciate is how clean and sanitary their process is—I’ve never once felt concerned when getting a piercing here. I've gone to other studios before, and there’s always been some sort of issue, but I’ve never had a problem at South Main. In fact, whenever something goes wrong elsewhere, I always end up coming back to South Main, and they fix it right away.

I have been going to Phoenix for years now, my most recent experience was last night ~ I received a Koi Fish & Cherry Blossom tattoo (my first tattoo with color!) It turned out absolutely stunning and I have already received so many compliments, including from people who aren't fans of tattoos ~ that is simply how talented Phoenix is. Phoenix knocks it out of the park literally every time I see her. She is one of the most talented artists and practitioners around & I feel so lucky to basically be a canvas of her tattoos (with the exception of two non-Phoenix tats). About a year ago she tattooed me with the beautiful snake & dagger inspired by Shakespeare's Macbeth, and I also attended two separate full moon events where I received the moon with crystals and faerie tattoos. Phoenix creates a comfortable atmosphere while tattooing you & ensures that her clients are taking the breaks needed while also checking in from time to time to see how you are doing. Conversation flows well at her table/chair and she approaches every person with kindness and openness. I highly recommend anyone see Phoenix, especially if you are looking for a beautifully saturated tattoo, whether that be black & grey or color!! (I have also added my first tattoo from Phoenix which was The Moon tarot card with the character Yue from Avatar the last airbender) 5 stars, as always.

Visiting a new tattoo shop and artist is nerve wracking, but from the moment I stepped in the store, Phoenix was very welcoming! I was nervous not seeing the design until my appt, but Phoenix was quick to make edits, and was unphased when I wanted to see the stencil in (ever so slightly) different spots. We collaborated on color choices and should we/shouldn’t we do a background, and I left with a tattoo I’m so happy with!! (Bonus points for the shop location and off street parking!)

I took my daughter for a matching mom/daughter tattoo for her upcoming birthday. Nick was phenomenal! This was my daughter’s first tattoo and Nick made the entire experience so pleasant for us. His work is exceptional but equally important is that he was so patient. kind and professional with us. Nick made this entire experience so amazing. I highly recommend Nick!

I had my piercings done here, they all talk to you nice in your face and that’s it! My piercings got infected and I reached out to their main number and Veronica and never got any responses. I think it’s all a show for business and so you can tip them big! Once your done getting piercings, any issues you run it to you’re on your own… I won’t recommend this place, their piercings are not that expensive but they force you to buy their jewelry and it cost an arm and a leg!
