I have tried to let this go and I can’t. I got my nose pierced here in August. I have multiple tattoos, have broken 9 bones at once, my pain tolerance is fairly high. I was very shocked when my nose piercing hurt worse than those. I’ve never had a piercing or even a tattoo hurt so bad. When leaving I knew something else was off. I had a weird sharp nerve pain at the roof of my mouth. It went away after a few hours. Healing was tough. It was tender for a long time. But, I kept pushing through it because I wanted the piercing and there was no way I was going to have it redone after that pain. Fast forward to now, 8 months later. I finally took it out to replace it with a ring. Come to find out, my piercing is at such a goofy angle, we can’t get anything with the slightest curve into it. I’ve had four people (with nose piercings) try and nobody can get it in. We can’t even get a nose bone to go in correctly. It is almost if she pierced it completely vertical, meaning had it moved just a hair it probably would’ve come thru the front of my nostril. I am so disappointed and discouraged. I should’ve just left in the original she used. I don’t want to go anywhere to have it redone because it hurt so bad (probably hit a nerve). This was such a bummer.

I have been here twice for the 2 for $30 and can honestly say both times have been an amazing experience. It is a laid back environment and isn’t at all intimidating as some piercing places can be. Stephanie is an amazing piercer and really makes it really feel like a personalized experience. My piercings have healed beautifully, and each time afterwards I can’t wait to go back and get more!!

Shane at Screaming Needle did an awesome job! He gave ton of attention to detail and did a great job of talking through his process. As an added note, he is a super gifted artist. I had multiple tattoos done in a single session and he was pretty spot on with the time estimation.

If I could put zero stars I would. Was pierced with COMPLETELY incorrect jewelry, not to mention gauge size. Was pierced with a 20g in my helix, which she also placed a butterfly back on, leaving no room for swelling. My entire ear swelled within the next 24 hours. When I went to another reputable piercer for help, they were shocked that anyone would put that in my ear, had even called in other employees to come look at how much swelling and redness there was. She removed the piercing and wouldn’t replace it because it was done COMPLETELY wrong by the initial piercer. At this location!!! When I called the initial piercer back, she told me this was standard and usual, which I replied it is not standard as the standard size for a helix piercing is a 16g flatback or internally threaded jewelry. She continued to argue and interrupt my complaints about how she pierced it, to which I replied she obviously had no idea what is standard or not, and that I would be filing a formal complaint. She also told me that if I wanted it pierced with a 16h then they could stretch it, which Is NOT TYPICAL for a helix piercing!!! They are supposed to be pierced with a 16g needle! To that she said “ not here we don’t” so I argued that they don’t practice legal standards for jewelry? She told me if I wanted a flatback I had to pay for it. So I had to pay extra to get pierced correctly! Makes sense right? As I was talking she kept intruding on her practice and how it’s standard, which is when I let her know this obviously is just to do with her knowledge and I’d be filling a formal complaint. I have 17 piercings and have done extensive research on how to safely replace my jewelry, what sizes they should be gauge wise and what should be in them! Other piercers at wicked ways were shocked, and quite literally gasped when I put my hair up for her to see, and then she called in the others in shop to see! In the pictures you can see how inflamed my ear is even after the removal!! Not to mention that the piercing was still bleeding 36 hours after !!
