Great experience with Jay who made time to consult with me days prior to my appointment. I wanted to know whether someone at the studio could pierce the ears of a kid under 10 years. Jay agreed and the final results are delightful! The procedure was quick with a needle which ensures precision and reduces the likelihood of scarring. Each ear pierced cost $40 (x2) along with the aftercare spray, $15. Several weeks later Jay contacted me to find out how the healing was going. Hearing from her was a pleasant and much appreciated surprise. Please know going to a tattoo parlor for kid ear piercing wasn't something that I ever considered until I saw a sign for piercing in the second floor window of S.O.C.A. and I did research. I preferred this option over going to a mall where a piercing gun and cashier/retailer may not pay as much attention to detail when piercing the ears of a kid. I also know the folks at the mall definitely won't call anyone to follow up on the healing process. Additionally, the owner and all of the workers that I interacted with were courteous and welcoming. Just remember to bring your identification when seeking a service. I would recommend ear piercing by Jay if anyone is seeking a professional piercer, who is a patient person that can pierce the ears of a kid. Overall, no complaints. I am completely happy with the experience and results.

Where do I begin? This place is awesome! Went in for a couple piercings for my daughter and me and the staff were just so nice/friendly professional! Jay pierced both of us and took her time to make sure everything was perfect! Amazing vibe and great tunes! Do not sleep on this local business—get the piercing, get the tattoo! This place is so, so good! I can’t wait to go back! 🔥

My man Sheef is the greatest hands down!!! Not only did he deliver the exact Tattoo I wanted but he went above and beyond with his performance and professionalism. S.O.C.A Tatto Studio not only provides a great safe clean environment they also give you an experience and a piece of artwork that lasts a lifetime. I will not get Tatted anywhere else for sure!!! Much love and respect!!!!

The environment itself is welcoming and everyone in the shop has good energy. Chris did my first tattoo and from then I don’t go to nobody else! He’s the best to do it and I strongly recommend going to him or the others. They all do really good work and make you feel comfortable through the whole process. Another great thing is the communication, because any questions or comments I may have are always answered in a timely fashion.

Unfortunately I have to leave a not great review. Before coming in I called once to ask about the services and another while outside in search of the entrance which is not easy to find. Both times the people I spoke with over the phone were pretty friendly. Upon arrival I checked in signed the wavior etc, I then inquired to the young woman behind the desk about the pricing of a cartilage piercing she pointed and said "all the prices are here"... i was like um ok thanks. It seemed like a simple question with a simple answer but I was given no help, when I looked where she instructed me to the price was not on the board. When the room was ready I was told to go inside. She started to prepare the tools and whatever, I inquired about the place I was getting pierced, which was a hole that previously closed. I wanted to know if she thought it would be ok to go through that hole again. She said yeah its fine, literally did not take a second to look at my concern barely even looked up. Tried to ask other questions about the healing process during my visit. She provided me with almost no aftercare information without me having to pry it out of her. I was not asked which stud I wanted, mind you I'm going to have to leave this one in for at least 3-4 months. When I inquired if there were other options she said you can do it in silver instead. The rest of my appointment continued with this awkward questioning and blunt/dismissive response. Overall the procedure was quick I was in and out in about 15 minutes. She seems to have done a good job however customer service seriously needs to be improved. I felt so uncomfortable the entire time. I feel like if you're gonna pierce a hole through my skin you can at least be somewhat hospitable. Will not be returning.
