For those in the Seattle area seeking profound and meticulously crafted Japanese tattoos, Ryuki Irezumi stands out as a distinguished destination. Situated conveniently at 5307 4th Ave S Suites C-E, Seattle, WA 98108, USA, Ryuki Irezumi offers a unique and authentic approach to the ancient art form of irezumi, also known as traditional Japanese tattooing.

When searching for "Tattoo Shops Near Me," discerning clients prioritize not only proximity but also the skill, artistry, and environment of the studio. Ryuki Irezumi distinguishes itself through its dedication to traditional techniques and exceptional artistic talent. The studio provides a welcoming and professional environment where clients can feel comfortable and confident in the artistry being performed.

At the heart of Ryuki Irezumi's offerings is the profound art of irezumi. This style of tattooing is characterized by its large scale, intricate designs, and deep cultural significance. Often depicting mythological figures, animals, and natural motifs, irezumi is a commitment to a significant piece of body art that tells a story and reflects a personal journey. Ryuki's expertise in this demanding art form is evident in the exceptional detail and dynamic compositions showcased in his work, as highlighted by satisfied clients.

One of the unique features of Ryuki Irezumi is the practice of tebori, a traditional Japanese hand-poking tattooing technique. Unlike modern machine tattooing, tebori involves the use of hand tools to carefully implant ink into the skin. This method allows for a different texture and depth in the tattoo, often resulting in a softer and more organic look. Tebori requires immense skill and precision, and Ryuki's mastery of this technique offers clients an authentic and deeply rooted tattooing experience. The dedication to traditional methods underscores a profound respect for the history and artistry of Japanese tattooing.

The services offered at Ryuki Irezumi are centered around custom, large-scale Japanese tattoos. Each design is a collaborative process, taking into account the client's ideas, personal story, and Ryuki's artistic expertise. This ensures that every tattoo is a unique and meaningful piece of art. The studio focuses on quality over quantity, dedicating the necessary time and attention to each client to achieve exceptional results.

Based on feedback from real customers, the experience at Ryuki Irezumi is highly regarded. Clients consistently praise Ryuki's exceptional talent, particularly his attention to detail in irezumi work. The quality of the artwork and the authentic tebori technique are frequently mentioned as standout features. Beyond the technical skill, clients also appreciate Ryuki's passion for the art, which translates into a truly amazing and gratifying experience. The positive reviews suggest a commitment to not only producing outstanding tattoos but also to providing a positive and professional client interaction.

Ryuki is very talented at what he does. For irezumi he has the best detail I’ve seen around Seattle, very happy with the work we’ve done and will continue to do.

My experiences have been nothing but excellent! Ryuki's work is very original, genuine, and detailed - really adding to my ideas and making more of them. He is a one in a million type talent, learned by traditional Masters in Japan, so don't expect anything less than exceptional. True traditional Japanese art style>>> also very clean, helpful with making sure you are comfortable while getting tatted/and that you know how to care for your new tattoos.

I've been coming to Ryuki for the past few years for my left arm sleeve on his post. He does great work. Very few artists do the traditional tebori style of tattoos in the US. He was trained in Japan for this style of tattoo art.

Ryuki has been my tattoo artist since I moved to Seattle in 2019. His traditional Japanese artwork is faithful to his teachers, and also unique to him. His style is a reflection of dedication, passion for the work, and a healthy obsession with perfecting his craft. Every piece he designs is a part of him, he makes sure that both himself and the person getting the tattoo can live with the final product. I have seen him turn away customers that he is not 100% confident he can satisfy. It's a humility that is rare for a tattoo shop. This is what keeps me coming back, the nature of the work is more of a pact and less of a transaction, especially if you go for long sessions or get a large piece done (like a sleeve). If you are looking for a tattoo in the Japanese style, there is no better pick in this part of the country. 🙌🏼
