The best place to go! Peter is so sweet and understanding. My friends and I got matching ankle tattoos and it was truly a great experience. This place was so modern, clean, and comfortable. He also gave us a very reasonable price. He makes you feel so safe and you know you are in good hands. He is very caring to his clients wants and concerns. He exceeded my expectations completely and I will definitely be going back!

I have been getting tattoos from Pieter since 2010. He is not only an amazing artist but he is professional, works with you to make your idea come to life, personable, clean, and affordable. I can’t wait to get my next tattoo at his new shop. I have both color and black and grey tattoos from him that look amazing even years later. He has done customer pieces for me that came out beyond what I ever expected. I recommend all my friends and family to go to him.

Pieter has done all my tattoos so far and has done them justice. From start to finish, he listens to everything you want. From designing the tattoo until you love the design, and then as the art starts to come together if you want a color here or extra designing there, he does it until your 100% satisfied with the art. I’d highly recommend him to anyone that is getting there first tattoo or if you want a cover-up.

Pete and I go way back and was the first person I contacted when I wanted to get my sleeve done. He absolutely crushed it, He was able to touch up an old piece and incorporate it into the full sleeve. I don't have any full photos of when it was done, but I have added some of the ones I took while it was getting worked on. I HIGHLY recommend Pete for any tattoo work you need!

Pieter is invaluable and flawless! His work speaks for itself and accurately reflects his high esteem. His work is clean and precise. Pieter’s vision, plan, and execution led to my knockout snake tattoo. The end result exceeded what I had hoped for when I booked my appointment. This was my first time at his shop, Realism Tattoos, after my other artist switched shops, which fortunately turned out to be a blessing. I could not be happier with Pieter. He will undoubtedly be my artist for all future tattoos. He was able to keep up with me despite ridiculously talking the entire time. Pieter was receptive and engaging throughout the entire four plus hour session. Pieter put me at ease and shared meaningful insight into life events that I shared with him. I have never actually laughed during a tattoo session before so that was also, incredibly refreshing. Pieter went out of his way to make me feel more than comfortable from the start of the process to the very end of the tattoo reveal. I was euphoric. Today’s experience with Pieter was priceless. It was unmatched by any other tattoo session. I am inspired by new ideas after Pieter’s work, and I can’t wait to talk with him again. The four plus hours felt short because of our ingenious and playful banter. Does it get any better?
