I went there years ago, asked him if he could copy a certain tattoo that I’ve been wanting for years. He says I don’t copy tattoos I have my own style. Cool I agree for him to give me his version of that tattoo. He proceeds to free form the whole tattoo which covers up my whole forearm. The shading is terrible, the definition is terrible, and he had a heavy hand so everything is so dark that I can’t even get it covered if I wanted to. I’m upset because this trash art is going to be on me for the rest of my life

I have been going to Chris for a year now and he’s the best! I absolutely love my tattoos he did! Every experience is great and he always explains what he’s doing and the shop is nice and clean too! Every tattoo I get in the future I will be sure to go to Chris! Definitely recommend this shop!

From the start, Chris, the tattoo artist and owner/ operator of Monhagen Ink was impressive. He openly, patiently and creatively discussed and adjusted the design of my tattoo until it matched my vision and fit my body the way I wanted. Chris is a talented artist with expert and professional knowledge of tattooing and piercing. I highly recommend this shop - whether you want your first tattoo, your 100th tattoo or a cover up, talk to Chris, you won't be disappointed.

I was referred to Chris and was told he was doing piercings/tattoos but when I went in there he said because of the law, he isn't doing anything on anyone. But my friend goes to him all the time and he's already done her piercing and tattoo. Not sure why he turned me away, but that isn't good for business.
