I had a great experience with my recent tattoos at Mohan's. I wanted to get new tattoos for a while and couldn't find a studio in New York I was excited about. I walked by Mohan's back in December and liked the look of it. The reviews all seemed positive and the work I saw was incredible. The staff was really communicative and helpful in discussing my designs and setting up my appointment—both on Instagram and via phone/text. I was getting two small tattoos that were pretty simple compared to the work the tattoo artists there usually do, but the attention to detail didn't feel like it dropped off at all. My artist (@parzyu) was great, does incredible work, and was friendly and communicative throughout the appointment. He also continued to stay in touch with me after the fact to see how the tattoos were healing. I needed to go back to the shop a few weeks later for a touchup, and the experience was just as good as the first time. The deposit and total cost were very reasonable compared to other studios, and the facility was very clean and comfortable. I would 100% recommend this spot!

I’ve had tattoos done by both Arjun and Samip, and I can't recommend them enough! They’re both incredibly skilled artists—check out their Instagram to see the unique styles they specialize in. They really take the time to listen to what you want, to make sure your tattoo turns out exactly as you imagined. The entire staff is welcoming and friendly, always checking in to make sure you're comfortable throughout the session. Plus, their prices are very reasonable for the quality of work you get. If you want a tattoo that’s not only stunning but also a great experience from start to finish, this is the place to go. I’ve gotten three tattoos from them so far and I love every one of them.

My first tattoo ever, expectations were high and Arjun delivered well beyond what I could’ve asked for. Phenomenal artist and person! This video was taken over a month after I got my tat (March 4th), and it has healed beautifully. Arjun gave me great aftercare instructions and honestly sometimes it looks like the ink shimmers! The experience was wonderful - Arjun resized the lettering bc he knew it would stretch over time, and finished under the quoted time so he didn’t charge as much (very reasonable pricing to begin with). Good conversation too, quelled my nerves and allowed my friend to also sit in. A true professional, including the other staff. I can’t recommend this place enough! 🇮🇳🇳🇵🕉️

I always try to come by when i’m in NYC. Arjun is always a joy to work with! He is so attentive and makes sure to work strategically so the pain is minimal. All of the artists here are so talented :)

I recently had a sleeve tattoo from Nischal and I have been so impressed with his skill that I had to come write a review. I had initially approached him for just a cover up tattoo on my shoulder but as we started discussing visions I was soon on-board with the full sleeve shebang! Nischal and I would meet in the early hours and discuss designs over coffee. I would mention the primary elements and let Nischal have full control on integrating the elements together and creating a beautiful art out of it. The result is an amazing piece of art that has been fused with all things close to my heart. My sleeve took several hours over the course of three days to complete it, and I could just see Nischal immersing himself fully into it with his heart and soul, crafting what he crafts best! I thank you Nischal "mero bhai" for your creativity, hard-work and dedication.
