This will be a long review, but I am going to share. My experience with Minimal NYC was much more than just getting a tattoo. First, I want to say that these great people here are not your average tattooers. These individuals are real tattoo ARTISTS! The discipline, heart, and care that is displayed, and the work and morale speaks for itself, is truly one of a kind. I had my first sleeve done by David Baena, a true master of his craft. The communication was and is absolutely on point, as well as the respect, the help, and finally the art. I will say, my first sleeve is quite different from the standpoints of complexity, cultures, details, etc. as seen in the pictures. But I told David what I had in mind for this project and he made it happen! I am elated with the final result and love how different my sleeve is than many others! Much more than the art I now have, I was shown a great sense of interest from David and from everyone here, not just about my ideas or my tattoos, but an interest in getting to know who I am as a person and I reciprocated that. To me, that means a lot because you don’t get that often in certain places. I will always remember that. The trips I took to get here were worth it and I am proud to say that I will be back! David and Minimal NYC have earned a loyal and forever client, as well as a true friend. I know that I will always be taken care of. You cannot put a price on this experience! Special thanks to David, Luca, Salomé, Adam, René, Berto, and everyone at Minimal NYC for being the people they are. Good hearted, very supportive, and overall exceptional people. This place is the best. I traveled over an 1.5 to get to this shop. I would travel here again if it was 6 hours away from me. The artists are amazing. They are all so talented and truly take their work seriously. This place is clean and well lit. They are also incredibly accommodating and even offered me and my girlfriend water while we waited. Can't wait to go back. Sergio is an awesome dude and amazing artist. I had my work done by manweihe. She took her time and made it a great experience. I was being a baby and had to ask for a few breaks and she made sure I was completely comfortable. Parking is pretty easy. The coffee shop next door is great and absolutely amazing tacos about 10 min walk away.

I got my half sleeve tattoos done at Minimal by artist David Baena and he did such a clean and beautiful job, which to be honest I kinda expected because he’s one of the best! Very friendly guy that lets his work speak by itself. I’m more than happy with my half sleeve and people around me won’t stop giving me compliments about it. I’ll definitely stick to David for more tattoo ideas in the future ⚡️

I had such a positive experience at this place! 🤩 The artist Berto is incredibly talented at cover-ups, and I was also impressed with the other artwork I saw being done by the other artist while i was there. The atmosphere was really welcoming and friendly, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for some amazing ink. 👍
