Little Chicago Tattoo Company LLC Introduce

For our users in US exploring the world of body art and searching within the platform category "Tattoo Shops Near Me," we present an objective overview of Little Chicago Tattoo Company LLC, located at 1736 W State of Franklin Rd Suites 30 & 40, Johnson City, TN 37604, USA. While geographically distant from US, examining the recent customer reviews of this establishment can offer valuable insights into the multifaceted aspects of a tattoo and piercing studio, helping you discern what to look for in local businesses within US.

Little Chicago Tattoo Company LLC has received mixed feedback from its recent customers, providing a balanced perspective on its offerings. One enthusiastic reviewer, a returning customer of over a year, expresses strong positive sentiments. They specifically praise the overall "great vibe" of the studio and the talent of the artists. This reviewer has worked primarily with an artist named Dave, whom they highly recommend. According to this feedback, Dave is an attentive listener who effectively translates the client's ideas into reality, even when provided with creative direction. The positive experience extends beyond the tattooing process, with the reviewer noting enjoyable and lighthearted conversations during their sessions. This suggests a friendly and engaging atmosphere fostered by the artists.

In contrast, another recent review presents a more critical perspective. This customer suggests a shift in the studio's focus towards piercings, observing that the larger premises now appear "more empty" than before. A significant point of contention is a change in policy regarding bringing companions to the back area during procedures, which is now reportedly disallowed. This reviewer also expresses a preference for the atmosphere of another local studio, Pioneer Tattoo in Elizabethton, citing its open layout as more appealing compared to what they perceive as a "dark back room" at Little Chicago Tattoo Company. Furthermore, this review indicates that Little Chicago Tattoo Company charges more than other tattoo shops in the general area. Most concerningly, this customer reports needing touch-ups on two out of three tattoos received at Little Chicago Tattoo Company, while a tattoo from Pioneer Tattoo has held up well. Based on this experience, the reviewer explicitly recommends seeking services elsewhere.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it is crucial to analyze the specific aspects of Little Chicago Tattoo Company LLC that are being highlighted:

  • Environment: One reviewer describes the overall "vibe" as great, while the other perceives the expanded shop as emptier and less appealing than before, specifically disliking the "dark back room" setting compared to the open layout of another studio.
  • Services: The positive review focuses on the excellent tattoo services provided by Dave. The negative review suggests a potential shift towards prioritizing piercings over tattoos. Both tattooing and piercing services are likely offered.
  • Artist Talent: Dave is specifically praised for his listening skills, ability to execute client visions, and engaging personality. The negative review, while not directly commenting on the skill of all artists, implies dissatisfaction with the quality of some tattoo work received, evidenced by the need for touch-ups.
  • Policies: A change in policy regarding bringing companions to the procedure area is noted as a negative aspect.
  • Pricing: The negative review indicates that Little Chicago Tattoo Company's prices are higher than those of other tattoo shops in the general vicinity.

The discrepancy in these reviews underscores the subjective nature of customer experiences. While one client has consistently enjoyed their time and the artwork received from Dave, another has experienced issues with the environment, policies, pricing, and the longevity of the tattoos. It is important for potential clients to consider both positive and negative feedback when making a decision.

  • Studio Environment and Atmosphere: Personal comfort with the studio's layout and overall vibe can significantly impact the experience. Some may prefer open spaces, while others might not mind more private settings.
  • Artist Specialization and Style: Different artists may have different strengths and styles. It's crucial to research individual artist portfolios to find someone whose work aligns with your vision.
  • Customer Service and Policies: Studio policies, such as bringing a companion, and the overall customer service experience can influence satisfaction.
  • Pricing and Value: While price is a factor, it's essential to balance cost with the quality of the artwork and the overall experience. Higher prices do not always guarantee better results.
  • Longevity and Quality of Work: A crucial aspect is the quality of the tattoo itself and how well it heals and ages. Touch-up needs can be an indicator of the initial quality.
  • Focus on Different Services: Some studios may have a greater emphasis on one type of body art (e.g., piercings over tattoos), which might affect the resources and expertise available for other services.

When searching for "Tattoo Shops Near Me" in US, consider looking for studios with consistent positive reviews that address various aspects such as artist skill, studio environment, customer service, and the longevity of their work. Examining artist portfolios and potentially consulting with the studio directly can help you make an informed decision and find an establishment that meets your individual needs and preferences.

In conclusion, Little Chicago Tattoo Company LLC in Johnson City, TN, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer reviews. While one client praises the friendly atmosphere and the talent of artist Dave, another expresses concerns about a perceived shift in focus towards piercings, a less appealing environment, restrictive policies, higher pricing, and issues with tattoo quality. For potential clients in the Johnson City area, and for our users in US seeking to understand the dynamics of tattoo studios, it is advisable to consider these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough research before choosing a body art service provider.

I love Little Chicago, I've been going here a little over a year now, the whole vibe is always great and the artists are awsome! I've personally only worked with Dave and he never disappoints! He really listens to when your wanting and is awsome with helping finish the vision. I'm one that I like to give the idea of what I'm going for and giving him creative direction, he hits it perfectly everytime. When I'm not sleeping during my tattoo the conversations are great, light and fun! Even with the other artists 😊 Highly recommend!

Seems shop is more focused on piercings than tattoos now, shop is bigger but looks more empty than it use too, can’t take anyone back with you anymore which is lame, use to you could take a friend with you to the back now they aren’t allowed.. I enjoyed the vibe of pioneer tattoo in Elizabethton better. It has an open layout and not stuck in a dark back room like where. This shop also charges more in the general area. I’ve had three done here so far, two of them need touched up and one from pioneer looks great… so that’s me telling you to go else where.

i absolutely LOVE coming here for my piercings. cami is so sweet and understanding when i’m nervous and lets me ask questions. she has done my nipples, which can be nerve-wracking just bc you gotta let the girls hang haha, she always ends up making me laugh by joking w me and helping ease some of my nerves. she had w her 2 apprentices and they were awesome! hannah did my bridge and it turned out great! and the other, i believe her name is tiffany? (overhead her answer the store phone and i think that’s what she said), was so kind, she offered me her hand to hold just in case and i highly recommend them. will definitely be coming back when i get the nerve to get a vertical labret😁

Wanted a basic fine line tattoo in memory of my mother. Placement was under the collarbone. The lines were absolutely anything but fine…nor were they straight… So the artist took it upon himself to make the lines bold in an effort to correct his mistakes and added shading all around on the inside of the design… that’s not even how shading works. The tattoo was overpriced to begin with… And was a complete rip off once the tattoo was completed. I chose this location due to the high volume of positive reviews online. Now I question that as well. I guess where they’re close to the college… The kids can walk to this location and get a tattoo. I wound up going to a phenomenal shop that is located in downtown JC for a cover-up. The cover-up was difficult to do, due to the Depth of black ink that had been used on the original as well as scarring. I could not be happier with the cover-up I received at this other shop last night. While I was there I met another individual who had had a tattoo from Little Chicago they were having covered as well.

I went to hannah to get a stacked piercing on my earlobe. The top piercing, the post wasn't long enough (fattiest part of my whole ear), which caused severe pain and swelling. When I went back to get a longer post put in, I was told by another piercer that it was done diagonally and I had to get the piercing removed -- after her trying for 10ish minutes to get another earring in. Pretty frustrating she didn't put a longer post in to begin with since that part of the earlobe is so thick.
