Legacy Ink Introduce

For individuals in Tempe, Arizona, and the surrounding areas searching within the "Tattoo Shops Near Me" category, Legacy Ink, situated at 4325 S 48th St ste 104, presents itself as a local establishment offering body art services. They can be contacted at (602) 293-3270 or +1 602-293-3270.

Based on the limited customer reviews available, the experiences at Legacy Ink appear to be varied. One reviewer had a highly positive experience with a piercing service, describing it as "quick, easy, painless and fun." They specifically mentioned a "chill experience" and expressed their intention to return for a tattoo, giving the shop a strong recommendation and noting that Legacy Ink will be moving to a larger location soon. This suggests that at least some aspects of their service, particularly piercing, are well-received by customers.

However, another customer's experience with a "Fri the 13th flash tattoo" event was significantly negative. This reviewer described the tattoo artist as "rude" and lacking personality. They also noted the presence of another individual, described as the artist's girlfriend, who they felt created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The reviewer detailed an experience where they felt ignored while trying to discuss their design and subsequently felt overcharged for two small flash tattoos compared to the larger custom tattoos their friend received in the same timeframe. Furthermore, they were dissatisfied with the artist's response to a request for blending on their tattoo, which was met with a brief, single line attempt and an instruction to return for a free touch-up if unhappy. This customer explicitly stated they were "NOT impressed by the service" and felt the price paid was excessive for the work received.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive assessment of the environment and services at Legacy Ink. The positive review suggests a clean and efficient setup, at least for piercing services, and a friendly demeanor from some staff members. The mention of an upcoming move to a larger location could indicate growth and potentially an improved or expanded facility. However, the negative review paints a picture of a less welcoming environment with at least one artist who is perceived as rude, unprofessional, and potentially inconsistent in pricing and customer service.

The services offered at Legacy Ink appear to include both tattooing and piercing. The first review explicitly mentions getting a piercing and the intention to return for a tattoo. The second review details an experience with flash tattoos, indicating that this type of service is also available, particularly during special events like a "Fri the 13th" promotion. It is plausible that Legacy Ink also offers custom tattoo services, as is typical for most tattoo studios, although this is not explicitly confirmed in the provided reviews.

The features of Legacy Ink are difficult to ascertain definitively due to the conflicting reviews. The positive review highlights a "chill experience" and quick, painless piercing, suggesting efficiency and a relaxed atmosphere during some services. The upcoming move to a larger location could be seen as a feature indicating growth and potentially improved facilities or a wider range of services in the future. However, the negative review points to issues with artist demeanor, inconsistent pricing, and a lack of attention to customer requests, which would be significant drawbacks.

Regarding promotional information, the "Fri the 13th flash tattoos" mentioned in the negative review can be considered a form of promotion, likely aimed at attracting customers with discounted, pre-designed tattoos on that specific date. However, the reviewer's experience suggests that the execution and pricing of this promotion were not satisfactory for all customers. The positive review does not mention any specific promotions but implies satisfaction with the value of the piercing service received.

Given the mixed feedback, local users searching for "Tattoo Shops Near Me" in Tempe should approach Legacy Ink with caution and consider the experiences of both reviewers. The positive account suggests that good service is possible, particularly for piercings, and the upcoming move might bring improvements. However, the negative review raises concerns about the professionalism of at least one artist, potential inconsistencies in pricing, and a lack of attentiveness to customer needs during tattoo services.

To make an informed decision, prospective clients may want to:

  • Contact Legacy Ink directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about their artists, their portfolios (if available), their pricing structure, and the environment of their current and future locations.
  • If possible, seek out additional reviews from other sources online to get a broader perspective on the experiences of past clients.
  • For tattoo services, consider requesting a consultation to discuss their design ideas with an artist and get a clear quote before committing to an appointment.
  • For piercing services, inquire about the piercer's experience and hygiene protocols.

In conclusion, Legacy Ink in Tempe, AZ, offers both tattoo and piercing services. While one customer reported a positive and efficient piercing experience, another had a very negative experience with a flash tattoo event, citing issues with artist rudeness, pricing, and customer service. Local users should weigh these contrasting accounts and conduct further research before deciding to utilize the services at Legacy Ink.

The BEST in the Valley! Seriously outstanding service all around. They are moving to a larger location soon. I went in for a simple piercing; OMG! It was quick, easy, painless and fun. It was just a quick "pinch". I'll go back for my next tattoo. I 100% recommend this shop for a chill experience!

My bestie & I went in for our 1st ever Fri the 13th flash tattoos…there was no line which I thought maybe we just lucked out. We went in, the dude was rude, had no personality & his gf which acted more like a guard dog, sat in the corner the entire time watching his every move. He helped my bestfriend 1st & she brought her own designs, I tried showing him mine while he was waiting for the printer on hers and he completely ignored me and turned around. She got two WAY bigger tattoos than mine and said he would do it for $80 for her (She had one across her thigh that was probably 3in wide roughly & one that was like 2inx2in on her arm) She was maybe on the chair 20-30 mins max. He gets to me & I got a tiny semi colon that was on the $20 flash tattoos (.5inch) and a palm tree also on the flash sheets (maybe 1.5in) and was in the chair maybe 15 minutes max and he charged me the same amount as my bestie and was so rude to me. When I asked if he could blend the leaves and the solid lines a little better he put one line and said I do free touch ups for life so just come back if you’re not happy with it. Never said another word to me and walked off and started helping the next person waiting. I was NOT impressed by the service here at all and ended up paying $100 ($20 tip included) when It should of only been HALF of that.

I had the absolute pleasure of getting my first ever tattoo with Sam Lopez. He made me feel very comfortable and was very patient. If I could leave more than 5 stars I definitely would and I’m definitely going to him if I want anymore tattoos done!
