Jackie is such an awesome tattoo artist and a lot of experience. She did mine and my husband's and was so kind to fit us in because we were walk-ins. Fast service and a did great work on us both. I highly recommend them and can't wait to go back for the rest of our tattoo's. And they don't take all your money at very reasonable prices, so make sure you tip your artist.😉

I recently scheduled my second tattoo appointment at Lake Geneva Tattoo and will being seeing the same artist, Vince, from my first tattoo experience at this location. My previous tattoo at this shop was set up in a timely manner, the staff was curtious and Vince did a very thorough job on my shoulder Bear Claw Tattoo in the fall of 2024. After scheduling my second tattoo at this shop, I did notice some reviews from other individuals with very negative experiences. As a owner of a small business myself, I take reviews seriously but I also stand by my work and service I provide to my customers. On that note, some clarification. 1. Lake Geneva Tattoo has a clean shop. 2. The artist's and owner do take pride in their work and service to prospective customers and current ones. 3. It would appear some individuals on Google Reviews are unaware this shop is a business and does not always revolve around your life and every beck and call. Be curtious and patient and this shop will deliver for both quality and timeliness. 4. If you really have a problem with your neediness and impatience, please do us all a favor and get professional help. 5. Lastly, bring up your concerns to the owner or artist, not the internet. Unjustified reviews can really hurt businesses, especially small businesses. Call them directly or show up. Keep up the great work Lake Geneva Tattoo!!!

I recently came into this shop for a brown outline of a sun on my arm. My tattoo artist was Jackie, and after having a very straightforward conversation about the color ink I’d like (light brown) she continued to use an incredibly dark brown. I told her the ink was quite dark prior to her beginning to tattoo me, and she reassured me it would fade to the color I asked for. Long story short, this tattoo is nearly black. I specified that I’d prefer it to appear similarly to a birthmark, but after a month it clearly was not going to. I came back to try and speak to Jackie about my situation to which she told me “it was the lightest brown we had.” and that there was nothing she could do(as if you couldn’t have mixed colors?). I left a review summing the situation up and the owner, Greg, called me shortly afterward at 9pm and offered to fix it up for free, and a free tattoo as long as I was going to take the review down. I was happy to do this and would have much preferred to just get it fixed instead of having to go get a brand new tattoo removed with laser work. He also told me that all my review was doing was hurting him as the other artists in the shop rent their space from him which I understand, although when you allow people to work in your shop like that I feel like it’s a given that they are part of the shop and can be used in a review not specifically about greg. I took it down after waking up instead of last night when he called because I was tired and going to sleep being that it was nighttime, and it wasn’t really my number one priority, though I will admit I woke up somewhat late close to 1. I woke up to a missed phone call from him and when I called back he told me l essentially didn’t take it down fast enough and that he no longer wanted to even fix it for me because I “already lost him a customer” somehow. This place conducts business in an incredibly inappropriate manner. Some of these responses to other reviews on Greg’s behalf are astonishing and speak to the professionalism of the shop and their work entirely. The place reeks of cigarettes and the owner may be skilled but he is incredibly rude, immature, and unprofessional.

The overall feel and experience we had was terrible. The piercer never discussed a choice of jewelry first, and proceeded to pierce my son’s lobes with rings. There was zero communication before, during and after the piercing. He didn’t even hand him a mirror or direct him to one to take a look at the piercing after he was finished. My son has wanted his ears pierced for a couple years now, so we surprised him for his birthday. We celebrated his birthday in Lake Geneva, so we thought that getting his piercing while we were still in Lake Geneva, would be the perfect way to end the weekend. HUGE mistake!! When I looked at the back of both lobes, both piercings were at a drastic downward angle . I then proceeded to call my local piercer, who told us to come in right away. We then purchased the correct jewelry (studs as opposed to rings) and my son ended up needing to get both lobes re-pierced because of the angle they were pierced at. Went through a great deal of gauze to stop the bleeding from the left ear before re-piercing it, which my son said during the initial piercing at lake Geneva tattoo and piercing, he could feel the needle get stuck, and the piercer jammed it the rest of the way through. Needless to say this was far from the experience we were hoping for. I will NEVER recommend Lake Geneva Tattoo and Piercing. So extremely disappointed. 1 star is too high of a rating!

Jackie was wonderful!! This was my first tattoo and it was important to be perfect to represent my children on earth and in heaven. She was diligent and kind and I LOVE the work she did. 10/10 recommend Jackie!
