LA | Cool Tattoo Piercing | Jewelry | Los Angeles Introduce

For our users in Taiwan exploring the online platform category of "Tattoo Shops Near Me" and seeking information about body art services in the Los Angeles area, it is crucial to provide an objective introduction based on all available information. In the case of LA | Cool Tattoo Piercing | Jewelry | Los Angeles, located at 4501 S Alameda St Local A5, Vernon, CA 90058, USA, the online reviews present significant concerns regarding the safety and sanitary practices of their piercing services.

It is important to preface this introduction by stating that the information presented here is derived directly from customer reviews found online. These reviews raise serious red flags about the hygiene and professionalism at LA | Cool Tattoo Piercing | Jewelry | Los Angeles, particularly concerning their piercing procedures.

One detailed review explicitly labels the place as "Really unsanitary and unsafe Place," strongly advising against visiting if one wishes to avoid infected piercings. The reviewer elaborates on several specific instances that led to this conclusion. Firstly, they observed the piercer repeatedly touching her phone and herself immediately before performing piercings. This practice poses a significant risk of introducing bacteria into the fresh piercing wound, potentially leading to infections. The reviewer rightly points out that while piercings may be minor injuries, they necessitate sanitary conditions, which, according to this account, are not maintained at this establishment.

Furthermore, the review raises concerns about the quality of the jewelry offered for new piercings. The studio reportedly offers materials like silver and surgical steel as standard options for fresh piercings. The reviewer notes that these materials are not ideal for initial piercings and can cause infections. They also mention that titanium jewelry, which is generally considered a biocompatible and safer option for new piercings, is offered at an additional cost, implying it is not the standard. This practice of upcharging for a more suitable material is criticized in the review.

The same reviewer recounts witnessing a belly button piercing performed on an individual who allegedly did not have the proper anatomy for such a piercing. Performing a piercing on unsuitable anatomy can lead to significant complications and future issues for the client, highlighting a potential lack of expertise or proper assessment by the piercer. This is a serious concern regarding the competency and safety standards of the studio.

Adding to the worries, the reviewer states that they were not provided with any aftercare instructions. Proper aftercare is crucial for the healing of piercings and the prevention of infections. The absence of this guidance from a piercing studio raises further questions about their commitment to client safety and well-being.

In a concluding statement, this reviewer strongly advises paying more to go to a different, reputable shop rather than risking a "messed up piercing" and potential permanent bodily alteration for a lower price at LA | Cool Tattoo Piercing | Jewelry | Los Angeles.

An edit to the first review provides an even more alarming observation. The reviewer claims to have witnessed a piercer performing an industrial piercing where, after making the first hole, the used needle was allowed to "FALL DOWN" and was then picked up and used to pierce the second hole. This is an egregious breach of basic hygiene and safety protocols in piercing. Reusing a needle that has fallen onto an unsterile surface introduces a high risk of contamination and infection. The reviewer understandably describes this as "Honestly shocking."

A second edit from the same reviewer addresses the studio's alleged response to their initial feedback. The reviewer states that they also checked the studio's livestreams, which purportedly corroborated their initial observations of unsafe piercing practices, including touching the face and then equipment, and dropping needles on clients. The reviewer also reiterates that silver is not a safe material for piercings due to its potential to oxidize and cause permanent black marks. They criticize the studio for allegedly calling a customer a liar instead of addressing these serious issues, which, according to the reviewer, further validates their concerns.

A second, separate review also expresses dissatisfaction and explicitly states, "Wouldn’t recommend." This reviewer recounts getting a third nose piercing at the studio. A concerning detail is that the piercer was seen "twisting the screw nose jewelry into an L shaped," which is not a standard or recommended practice and could indicate a lack of proper technique or use of inappropriate jewelry. Furthermore, the piercer reportedly did not clean the nose after the piercing. The reviewer experienced significant pain with this piercing, unlike previous nose piercings, and noticed that it consistently stuck out at a "weird angle." Upon removing the jewelry at home and attempting to insert a proper L-shaped nose ring, the reviewer realized that the piercing had been done at an angle that would cause any jewelry to protrude awkwardly, indicating a fundamental error in the piercing placement.

Based solely on these two detailed and highly critical customer reviews, there is no positive information available regarding the environment, services, features, or promotional information of LA | Cool Tattoo Piercing | Jewelry | Los Angeles. The overwhelming message from these accounts is one of serious concern regarding the sanitary practices, safety protocols, jewelry quality, and piercing techniques employed at this establishment.

Given the severity of the issues raised in these reviews, it would be irresponsible to recommend this studio to anyone seeking tattoo or piercing services without significant evidence of improved practices and addressed concerns. For users in Taiwan exploring "Tattoo Shops Near Me" in the Los Angeles area, the information available strongly suggests exercising extreme caution and seeking services from alternative establishments with more positive and reassuring reputations regarding hygiene and safety.

In conclusion, the available information regarding LA | Cool Tattoo Piercing | Jewelry | Los Angeles, based on direct customer feedback, paints a concerning picture of unsanitary practices, unsafe piercing techniques, the use of potentially unsuitable jewelry, and a lack of proper aftercare guidance. There is no information to suggest a positive environment, unique features, or any promotional offers that would outweigh the serious safety and hygiene issues raised. Therefore, based on the current online reviews, this studio cannot be recommended.

Really unsanitary and unsafe Place, don't go if you don't want your piercings to get infected. Piercings are minor injuries but they should still be performed under sanitary conditions which isn't the case here. The lady doing the piercing kept touching her phone and herself before piercing which can introduce bacteria into the wound and a lot of the jewellery they have to offer isn't good for fresh piercings (silver, surgical steel) and can cause infections. They charge extra money for titanium jewellery which should be the normal material and not an "add on". I have also seen the same lady perform a bellybutton piercing on someone that didn't even have the anatomy for one which will cause big issues for that person in the future, something like that NEEDS to be checked. Also didn't get told anything about aftercare but maybe that's for the better with a place that obviously doesn't know what they're doing. Over all I would rather pay more money and go to a different shop than to pay little money and get a messed up piercing from them that can alter your body forever. Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention that the person before me got an industrial where they just let the needle after the first hole FALL DOWN and then pick it up to pierce the second hole with it. Honestly shocking Edit2: I didn't lie about anything that I've said in my review. After I went to your shop I also checked out your Livestreams and those just prove my point: Doing unsafe piercings, touching your face and then touching equipment and letting needles etc fall ON the client. Also silver isn't a safe material for piercings as it can oxidize and cause permanent black marks on your piercing hole. That you would rather call a costumer a liar than fix all those issues the shop has just proves my point.

Wouldn’t recommend. I got third nose piercing here. Probably should’ve left when I saw her twisting the screw nose jewelry into an L shaped. She also didn’t clean my nose after the piercing. Normally nose piercings aren’t too bad but this one hurt so much and it also kept sticking up at a weird angle. I came home and took it off to change the jewelry. When I inserted an actual L shaped nose jewelry I realized the way my nose was pierced was at an angle that regardless of whichever jewelry I would’ve inserted, it would’ve still stuck out.

They did not provide a long enough post to accomodate for the swelling. While the experience in the studio was fine, the ball of the jewelery started to go inside the piercing hole after a few days, where it formed a WOUND. I had to buy jewelry with a longer post and change it out. While it healed eventually, it took an entire year because it was healing an entire wound rather than a small piercing hole. For the area they pierced , it is standard to pierce with a longer post to accommodate for the swelling, and tell the customer to change to a smaller one later after it heals. They did not know to do that. All of that could have been avoided and I had to learn it myself the hard way. When I brought it up with them , they blamed me and said I wasn't cleaning my piercing enough rather than acknowledge their mistake. Edit: Their reply here insisting that they always use a longer post and "maybe you just had extra swelling" is just further proof of how they refuse to acknowledge their mistake and blame me instead.

do NOT go here. they will pierce you/put a needle in you WHILE you are STANDING. This is unprofessional and very unsafe. The artist is aware of the safety issues and still pierces people standing, increasing the risk of passing out and hitting their head, then proceeded to block me when asking why they do these unsafe practices. edit: while reading these replies from the shop, they clearly do not care about your wellbeing and have terrible customer service. Blocking someone and replying mean to other customers because they call you out on your unsafe practices is insane. You are running a PIERCING shop. Be professional. First thing you do when you search up ‘axtrig’ on tiktok, specifically, is ‘piercing controversial’.

Their staff do dangerous piercings (frog eyes, snake eyes, etc) without proper education for their clients. I would not come here
