Just got a Rook piercing in my ear from Julianne, great experience! She was very kind and explained everything I needed to know, reassured me I had the anatomy for the piercing, advised me on what soap she prefers, placed the piercing perfectly and was overall one of the best piercing experiences I’ve had. Thanks Julianne :)

The artist could not be bothered. I went in with a simple design and he could not even draw or replicate it. I am not an artist, and I can draw it easily. It was "too small" - it wasn't, and I was flexible on size. He was also dismissive, rude, and acted like I was a total bother. I did go in when no one was in the store, and there were at least two hours until close. There was no excuse to act like that. The "tough guy" tattoo artist attitude is so stupid and certainly does not belong in a town like Montclair. I went elsewhere and it was warm and welcoming and they did the exact design I wanted with no trouble or hassle. It was not "too small" - I got exactly what I wanted by going elsewhere from a better artist and a more friendly establishment. Do better.

Horrible customer service. Very cold greeting with minimal engagement or information. Getting a tattoo or piercing is, for many, symbolic, emotive and scary. To be greeted with such a dismissive and “too cool for school” demeanor is incredibly off putting and unnecessary.

Don’t recommend for piercings. I got my nose pierced here a year ago and it’s had a big red bump on it pretty much the entire time ever since. I’ve gone back and tried to troubleshoot with the person who pierced me, but they couldn’t give me a reason why the bump was happening or offer any solutions. I’ve gone to ask 3 other shops for advice afterward and they all told me the same thing the second they took a look at my nose- I was pierced at the wrong angle :( Basically this means there is no chance it would ever heal or look normal. I now have to take my jewelry out and get rid of my piercing and wait a couple months and pay to get it repierced and go through the whole healing process again. Very bad experience here.

Just got out of here and i am extremely happy !!!! Great group of guys that do great work but are also friendly and accommodating (my tattoo artist was Jay) . The facility is clean from the front to the back, even the bathroom was pristine!!! Go check them out , you won't regret it!!!
