A tattoo is a true poetic creation and is always more than meets the eye. No matter if you're walking into Ironwood Tattoo for your 1st, to help with body problems, help with cancer dots cover up, or to simply finish your bodywork, this is your place. The professionalism of each artist is something to be in awe of. You are in a safe place with a community that puts you first. My friend put "Calm down," written by Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch) from Sex and the City, as he would always say and live by. His words and handwriting continue to live on and give life in each moment that passes. Ironwood Tattoo literally is there for you for whatever your needs may be or desired.

Friendly, professional, excellent environment and service...I couldn't praise this tattoo studio enough. I wanted a half sleeve in traditional Japanese style so I started a project on yelp, and Jack Mitchell from Ironwood tattoo reached out in less than a few hours. Upon talking and reviewing his portfolio of works I decided this is the place to get my first ever tattoo and that was the best decision I made. Jack is very helpful during the planning and he perfectly combined all the elements I want in an extremely flowy fashion. I couldn't ask for anything more! During the first session, although I was nervous first walked into the studio, that nerves were alleviated completely with all the advice and reassurance I got from Jack. The session went by quicker than I thought for outlining the half sleeve (planned for 3hr done in 2hr). I couldn't ask for a better first experience into the tattoo world. Thank you Jack and I will see you again for many more!

I had a great experience at Ironwood. The entire shop is kind, welcoming, and professional. Even artists I wasn't working with were checking in on progress and making sure I was comfortable. Jack completed a full phoenix sleeve including chest panel for me. His process is very client centric and it was clear he wanted to make sure I had a positive experience. He was really enthusiastic at every stage of the process and it shows. His prefers to slightly oversize the main subject in his work, which makes larger pieces really pop. I am thinking about a leg sleeve next and am 100% coming back.

Just finished my last session on a full sleeve with Jack. Everything about the experience has been phenomenal. From the initial consultation through the last drop of ink, Ironwood has definitely been one of the best places I've gone for tattoos. Everything is clean, organized, the entire staff is laid back and chill, and the work is impeccable. 10/10 would recommend Ironwood and specifically Jack for anyone looking for a place to get Japanese traditional work done.

I’ve had 20+ hours of tattoos from Jack Mitchell and could not be more happy with every single piece (all of which I constantly get compliments on). Jack is a superbly talented artist across multiple styles and will bring the spirit of your idea to life unlike anyone else. He is also a great guy and a joy to spend time with. Highly recommend!
