Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings Introduce

For local users in Springfield, Missouri, seeking body art services within the "Tattoo Shops Near Me" category, Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings, located at 2825 S Glenstone Ave Suite P06D, Springfield, MO 65804, USA, offers both tattoo and piercing services. The available customer reviews present a mixed perspective, with strong positive feedback for tattoo artist Jason and significant concerns raised regarding piercing pricing and aftercare. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of what local users can expect from Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings, drawing upon the experiences shared by real customers.

The environment of Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings is described positively by one reviewer as "very clean" and "laid back." This suggests a comfortable and hygienic setting for clients undergoing tattoo or piercing procedures. A clean studio is crucial for minimizing the risk of infection and ensuring a safe experience. The "laid back" atmosphere might appeal to clients who prefer a relaxed and less intimidating environment for their body art services. The reviewer also noted that "everyone was professional and nice," indicating a positive and courteous staff.

The services offered at Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings include both tattooing and body piercing, as indicated by its name. One customer had a highly positive experience with a tattoo by an artist named Jason. This walk-in client received a handprint and pineapple tattoo and described Jason's work as "fantastic." The reviewer did not feel rushed despite being a walk-in and was extremely pleased with the outcome of both tattoos, particularly the handprint. This positive experience led the reviewer to strongly recommend Jason and express a definite intention to return in the future, highlighting satisfaction with the artistic skill and the overall tattoo experience.

However, another detailed review presents significant concerns regarding the piercing services. This customer initially sought three piercings and was quoted a price of $130 for two and an additional $85 for the third. Deciding to get two piercings (tragus and flat), the customer selected jewelry and proceeded with the procedure. Upon checkout, the total cost was unexpectedly "230-something dollars," a $100 increase from the initial quote. While the studio had small signs mentioning potential jewelry upgrades, the customer stated they were not informed that their chosen jewelry constituted an upgrade, nor were they shown any non-upgraded options. This lack of transparency regarding pricing left the customer feeling misled and upset.

Furthermore, the same piercing customer experienced post-piercing complications. Despite having multiple previous piercings without issue, the new piercings developed significant swelling within a week. The jewelry, described as a diamond set flush with the ear, appeared to have a post that was too short, leaving no room for swelling. Concerned, the customer returned to Infinium Studios (a two-hour drive) the next day but found it closed despite the website indicating it should be open. Seeking advice elsewhere, other professionals confirmed that the post was indeed too short and needed immediate replacement to avoid further complications and ensure proper healing. This necessitated the removal of the $115 piercing and incurring additional costs to replace the jewelry at a different location. The reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the pricing transparency and the inadequate initial jewelry selection for accommodating swelling.

A key feature of Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings appears to be the talent of tattoo artist Jason, who provided a positive experience for a walk-in client, demonstrating skill and professionalism. The studio's cleanliness and the friendly demeanor of the staff, as noted by the same reviewer, are also positive aspects.

However, a significant concern is the lack of transparency in piercing pricing and the potential issues with aftercare advice or jewelry selection that led to complications for another customer. The discrepancy between the quoted price and the final charge, coupled with the need for urgent jewelry replacement due to inadequate initial placement, raises questions about the consistency and quality of the piercing services and customer communication regarding costs.

Given the conflicting reviews, local users considering Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings should weigh the positive feedback for tattooing against the serious concerns raised about piercing pricing and aftercare. If interested in tattoos, Jason appears to be a skilled and well-regarded artist. However, those considering piercings should be aware of the reported issues with pricing transparency and potential complications related to jewelry and aftercare. It would be prudent for potential piercing clients to inquire in detail about all costs before the procedure and ensure that appropriate jewelry is selected to accommodate swelling.

Regarding promotional information, the provided text does not contain any specific details about discounts, special offers, or introductory rates. Local users interested in learning about any potential promotions at Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings would need to contact them directly at (417) 597-1698 or +1 417-597-1698 or check their online presence. However, in light of the negative piercing experience, potential clients might prioritize clear communication about pricing and proper aftercare over promotional offers.

In conclusion, Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings in Springfield, MO, offers both tattoo and piercing services. Tattoo artist Jason has received positive feedback for his skill and professionalism. However, a significant negative review highlights concerns regarding piercing pricing transparency, potentially misleading quotes, and issues with jewelry selection leading to post-piercing complications. Local users considering this establishment should approach with caution, especially regarding piercing services, and ensure clear communication about all costs and aftercare procedures. For tattoo services, the positive experience with Jason suggests a potentially good option.

Local residents of Springfield, MO, looking for "Tattoo Shops Near Me" should note the mixed reviews for Infinium Studios - Tattoos & Piercings. If interested in tattoos, the positive feedback about Jason is encouraging. However, those considering piercings should be aware of the reported issues with pricing and aftercare. It is recommended to have a thorough consultation regarding piercing procedures, jewelry options, and all associated costs beforehand. Additionally, ensuring that the piercer provides clear aftercare instructions and uses appropriate jewelry to accommodate swelling is crucial for a positive and healthy healing process. The contrasting experiences underscore the importance of comprehensive communication and transparency from the service provider.

I’ve been searching for a new artist for sometime and I think I finally have found the place/guy! Stopped in and got a tattoo by Jason, he did the handprint and pineapple and did a fantastic job! The place was very clean, laid back, everyone was professional and nice! I didn’t feel rushed despite being a walk-in, and the tattoos (especially the hand) turned out great! I will absolutely recommend to anyone, plus I will 100% be returning in the future! I am very impressed and pleased with this tattoo experience!

I usually never leave reviews, and I really do like the lady I was with. But I went in initially wanting 3 piercings; she told me it would be 130 for 2 and then 85 more for the 3rd piercing. I was ok with spending the 130, so I decided to do my tragus and a flat. I picked out my jewelry and got them done. We go back to the front, and she tells me it's 230-something dollars. $100 more than what she quoted me. Now in their defense, they had small signs saying there are upgrades for certain jewelry. But I did not realize that the ones I picked were upgraded. Nor did she say anything. And I’m not even sure if there was any without an upgrade and there was not many options. I just assumed that the upgrades were for only one piercing, not for two, because they had a 2 piercing deal. I have talked about it with several people, and we all agree she should have said something when she quoted me or when I chose the 60-80 dollar upgrade jewelry. Also, those prices are insane. I let it go, though, and decided I could let it go even though I cried in the parking lot. 😂. But it has been a week, and I have a lot of swelling, which I know is normal (I have 13 piercings), but the diamond is flush with my ear, and there was no room in front or behind the piercing. I knew that something wasn’t right and that the post was too short and had no room for swelling. So I decided to go back the next day and see if they could switch the post. Well, I drive 2 hours there because I live in the middle of nowhere, and they are close even though their website says they are open. I went to different places to see what they thought; they said I needed to change that day because the swelling would get worse and it would never heal. I just am very upset with the pricing and how they didn’t give me a heads up about how much it would be and more upset that I had to take the $115 piercing out and pay more money to change the post. I’m not a professional, but I know that you have to have a longer post to accommodate the swelling…. The picture is with it push as much out as possible and you can see it barely is out of my ear. Not the best pictures but you can see how tight they are.

Fantastic shop with great artists. The shop is kept very clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I've had multiple tattoos and piercings done here. The quality of the work done by each artist is excellent. I would highly recommend stopping in and getting some work done if you're looking around for a new tattoo or piercing.

Love this place!! Relaxed, upscale decor and coffee bar makes it easy to relax, and Jason was as professional as he was talented. My daughter had just lost her dad and the owner, Stephan Sandor, made room for her as a walk in. So sweet! The tat is small but very special. Other artwork in the shop is phenomenal. They also do make up tattooing. Will definitely be back!
