House Of Art Introduce

For local users and visitors in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, interested in temporary body art, House Of Art, situated at 402 S Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, USA, offers services such as henna tattoos. While the platform category is "Tattoo Shops Near Me," this introduction will focus on the henna services provided by House Of Art, based on recent customer feedback available online. The studio can be contacted at (843) 593-3165 or their mobile number +1 843-593-3165. Recent reviews present a mixed picture, with one customer experiencing significant issues with the henna application, while another reported a positive outcome.

One detailed review describes a disappointing experience where the customer and their sister received matching henna hand tattoos. Initially, the customer found the artist "very nice and helpful" in choosing a design. However, the positive aspects reportedly ended there. The henna took an exceptionally long time to dry, described as "HOURS." The most significant issue was the resulting color of the henna, which turned out to be "BLUE" instead of the expected reddish-brown hue of traditional henna. The customer likened the result to "Amateur ink" and experienced blue smudging on two fingers despite taking precautions to avoid it. Furthermore, attempting to wash off the supposedly dry henna led to blue ink stains on other parts of their hand, indicating that it was not fully dry. The reviewer expressed significant disappointment and advised others to "Steer clear of this business folks! You will not likely get what you want." They also shared photos illustrating the blue color and the wetness of the henna after several hours.

In contrast, another review presents a more positive experience. This customer mentioned that the people at House Of Art were "really nice." They also advised others to "Always ask price first," noting that they were prepared for the cost. Their daughter's henna tattoo cost $55.00. Later that same night, the reviewer and their mother also got henna tattoos. As they were on vacation and it was their last night, they wanted a special experience and were "really pleased with the outcome." This review offers no details about the color of the henna or the drying time, focusing instead on the pleasant staff and satisfaction with the final result.

Based on these two contrasting customer reviews, the features and potential issues associated with the henna services at House Of Art include:

  • **Friendly Staff:** Both reviews mention that the artists or staff were nice and helpful, suggesting a positive initial interaction.
  • **Design Assistance:** One customer noted that the artist was helpful in choosing a design for the henna tattoo.
  • **Potential for Unexpected Henna Color:** A significant concern is raised by one reviewer whose henna turned out blue, a highly unusual and undesirable outcome for traditional henna.
  • **Prolonged Drying Time:** The henna reportedly took "HOURS" to dry for one customer, which is significantly longer than the typical drying time for quality henna paste.
  • **Smudging and Transfer Issues:** The blue henna smudged easily and transferred to other parts of the skin even after a long drying period, indicating a potential problem with the henna paste used.
  • **Variable Pricing:** One data point suggests a cost of $55.00 for a henna tattoo, but more information is needed to understand the pricing structure based on size and complexity. The advice to "always ask price first" implies that costs may vary.
  • **Possibility of Satisfactory Results:** Despite the negative experience, another customer reported being "really pleased with the outcome" of their henna tattoos, suggesting that experiences may vary.

The environment of House Of Art is not explicitly described in detail in these reviews. However, the mention of "nice people" suggests a potentially welcoming atmosphere. The fact that customers felt comfortable enough to get henna tattoos, even on their last night of vacation, could indicate a reasonably pleasant setting. However, the significant issues raised about the quality of the henna in one review might overshadow any positive aspects of the environment for potential customers concerned about the outcome of the service.

The primary service discussed in the reviews is henna tattoos. It can be inferred that House Of Art offers a range of henna designs, given the artist's helpfulness in choosing one. However, the inconsistency in the quality and color of the henna reported by different customers is a major concern. Potential customers might want to inquire about the type of henna paste used, its source, and expected color results before proceeding with the service.

There is no promotional information available in the provided text. The reviews focus solely on the customers' experiences with the henna services and pricing. Therefore, no insights can be offered regarding discounts, special offers, or other promotional activities at House Of Art.

For local users and tourists in Myrtle Beach searching for temporary body art through platforms listing "Tattoo Shops Near Me," the contrasting experiences at House Of Art regarding their henna services should be carefully considered. While one customer had a positive experience, the detailed account of blue, slow-drying, and smudging henna is a significant red flag. Potential customers should exercise caution, ask detailed questions about the henna product used, and possibly seek out visual examples of the artist's previous henna work to gauge the likely outcome. The advice to always confirm the price beforehand is also crucial to avoid any unexpected costs.

In conclusion, House Of Art in Myrtle Beach offers henna tattoo services and appears to have friendly staff. However, recent customer reviews present a stark contrast in experiences. One customer reported a highly unsatisfactory outcome with blue, slow-drying, and smudging henna, while another was pleased with their experience. This inconsistency raises concerns about the quality of the henna product or the application techniques used. Potential customers should proceed with caution, thoroughly inquire about the henna and pricing, and consider the risk of an undesirable result based on the negative experience shared in one of the reviews.

My sister and I decided to do matching henna hand tattoos 2 days ago. The artist was very nice and helpful in choosing a design. That is where the good part ended. It took HOURS for the henna to dry and when all was said and done, they are BLUE! They look like Amateur ink! I have blue smudged ink on two fingers even tho I walked around like Mr Spock ( Live Long & Prosper) with my fingers apart. In an effort to wash when it was dry, I discovered that it was NOT DRY & now have blue ink stains on my other hand. I am searching to find a way to clean at least the smudged part of the design off my hand. Steer clear of this business folks! You will not likely get what you want. I am sadly disappointed. First photo is what was left when it was dry several hours later. 2nd one was when it was drying
