Hands down the most wonderful experience I have ever had getting a tattoo done. Ruben was professional, personable, hygienic, hard working and very detail oriented. He took a black and white image (Herman Munster) and colorized it himself of his own design. Completely nailed it! I cannot recommend him enough. If you want true art on your body that will last a lifetime and blow people's minds, Ruben and Graveyard NYC is the place to go! Rock on dude!🤘🤘

If you are reading this, pause for a second and make an appointment for a consultation with Ruben NOW. I met with Ruben for a consultation and he spent as much time with me as needed to talk about the tattoo cover up I wanted. He paid very close attention to detail and designed the perfect tattoo for me. He continued to tweak it before and while working on the perfect placement! I had several sessions until mine was complete and I could not be happier with the result AND the experience in the shop. Ruben will ensure you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The shop itself has an awesome vibe. Ruben is very friendly and loves being creative so if you have not made the appointment yet for a consultation , what are you waiting for??? Added bonus if you like rock n roll/ heavy metal as the shop is decorated that way. Check out his work and you will love it!! The one picture was after two sessions and the other isn’t the best picture (hard to take a selfie of your shoulder!)

Ruben is not only a great tattoo artist but a solid dude in general! Ruben called me the day before my tattoo and went over designs. He also took a lot of time to make sure the tattoo was perfect. Hands down one of the best and highly recommended.

Definitely the best Tattoo artist I ever met. He takes his time to understand what you like and what you want he makes it how you like it and he’s a perfectionist. He made sure that the work is perfect before he’s done with you and all his artist that are working with him too. Are amazing too. I got my first tattoo when I was 18. I waited 20 years for the perfect artist. Ruben definitely is that artist and I’m going back for more love this place.

Totally recommend Ruben to anyone looking for an eye-catching tattoo! After following for his Instagram as a fan for so long, I finally got the nerve to email into his shop to get a beautiful art piece of my own. From consultation to post-care, Ruben was extremely helpful every step of the way. First, his assistant replied super quick and got all the necessary information. Next, Ruben sat with my personally for almost 3 hours collaborating with me on the layout of my piece (both him and I are huge Dali fans so this worked out wonderfully)! On tattoo day, he was super accommodating, assistant ordered lunch so I didn’t have to wander the neighborhood, and Ruben took appropriate breaks throughout the long sit-down. Ruben also had Netflix up to distract so we went through a few documentaries, The Matrix, and Dumb & Dumber! With aftercare, I texted with him everyday with updates for a week until it was properly healed! In all, I couldn’t recommend Ruben enough! This was my sixth tattoo and by far my best experience in any shop. He is pro at what he does and makes you feel informed and secure the whole way though.
