Grade A Tattoos and Body Piercing At Castleton Mall Introduce

For our local users in Taiwan exploring options for body art, particularly within the "Tattoo Shops Near Me" category which sometimes includes piercing services, it's crucial to consider all aspects of a business before making a decision. Today, we present an objective overview of Grade A Tattoos and Body Piercing At Castleton Mall, located at 6020 E 82nd St, Indianapolis, IN 46250, USA, based on publicly available customer reviews. While the name suggests a potentially high standard, the feedback regarding their piercing services raises serious concerns that warrant careful consideration, even if you are looking for similar services locally in Taiwan. Understanding these experiences can help you identify red flags and prioritize shops with a proven track record of professionalism and care.

The limited information available focuses heavily on negative experiences with the piercing services at Grade A Tattoos and Body Piercing At Castleton Mall. One detailed review recounts a particularly troubling experience during a birthday visit where the customer intended to get a daith piercing and was convinced by a friend to also get a conch piercing due to a promotional deal. This deal offered a second ear piercing at a discount when getting a $50 piercing. However, the customer's encounter with the piercer was far from satisfactory.

The reviewer describes the piercer as "very quiet and seems upset," which immediately created a negative initial impression. A significant concern was the piercer's "really long nails," which the reviewer suspects may have contributed to the difficulties encountered during the piercing process. This detail raises questions about the piercer's professionalism and whether appropriate precautions were taken to ensure a smooth and safe procedure. Long nails can indeed interfere with delicate work and potentially increase the risk of complications.

During the procedure, the reviewer notes a lack of communication from the piercer, who did not provide any warnings or instructions about breathing before performing the conch piercing. The conch piercing itself was described as painful. The subsequent daith piercing attempt was even more problematic. The piercer reportedly struggled to insert the jewelry, "forcing it in" and causing significant pain and bleeding. The piercer then allegedly blamed the customer for moving too much, despite the customer's account of trying to remain still amidst the pain. The reviewer suspects that the piercer's difficulty, possibly exacerbated by long nails, was the primary reason for the failed attempt.

Adding to the negative experience, the reviewer's friend corroborated the account, stating that the customer was not moving excessively and that the piercer seemed unable to complete the piercing. The incident left the customer feeling pale and on the verge of passing out, requiring their friend to pay for the unsatisfactory service. This narrative paints a picture of a piercer who lacked the necessary skill, communication, and professionalism, leading to a painful and unsuccessful piercing attempt.

Another review echoes concerns about the piercing services, specifically regarding a helix piercing. This customer reports receiving "no care instructions" from the piercer and was incorrectly advised that the jewelry could be changed after only six weeks. Contrary to this advice, the reviewer's subsequent research indicated that helix piercings typically take up to a year to heal fully and should not be slept on. As a result of this misinformation and lack of proper aftercare guidance, the customer's helix piercing is now at an angle and has developed "bumpy scarring." This highlights a significant issue with the piercer's knowledge and the lack of proper aftercare advice provided to clients, which can lead to complications and unsatisfactory results.

Due to the overwhelmingly negative feedback specifically concerning the piercing services, it is difficult to provide a positive description of the environment or features related to this aspect of the business. The reviews suggest a lack of professionalism, poor technique, and inadequate aftercare advice in the piercing area. While one review mentions a promotional deal for ear piercings, this offer was overshadowed by the negative experience that followed.

The services offered at Grade A Tattoos and Body Piercing At Castleton Mall reportedly include both tattooing and body piercing. However, the available reviews provide no information about the tattoo services. Therefore, we cannot offer any objective assessment of the tattoo artists, their skills, or the tattoo studio environment. All the feedback pertains solely to the piercing services, and it is overwhelmingly negative.

Features that might be inferred, such as promotional deals, are overshadowed by the serious concerns raised about the quality and professionalism of the piercing services. The lack of proper aftercare instructions and the apparent lack of skill in performing basic piercings are significant red flags. The environment for piercings, based on the detailed negative review, seems unprofessional and potentially unsafe due to factors like the piercer's long nails interfering with the procedure.

There is no positive promotional information to report. The mentioned deal for ear piercings was part of a negative experience. Given the serious nature of the complaints regarding piercing services, any potential promotions should be viewed with extreme caution.

In conclusion, based on the available customer reviews, there are significant concerns regarding the body piercing services at Grade A Tattoos and Body Piercing At Castleton Mall in Indianapolis, USA. The negative experiences highlight issues with piercer skill, professionalism, communication, hygiene (potential interference from long nails), and the provision of accurate aftercare instructions. While tattoo services may also be offered, there is no information available to assess their quality. For our local users in Taiwan seeking "Tattoo Shops Near Me" that may also offer piercing, the experiences reported at this establishment serve as a cautionary tale. It is crucial to thoroughly research any body art service provider, read multiple reviews, and prioritize establishments with a strong reputation for professionalism, skill, hygiene, and comprehensive aftercare guidance to ensure a safe and satisfactory experience. The negative feedback for the piercing services at Grade A Tattoos and Body Piercing At Castleton Mall suggests that potential clients should exercise extreme caution and consider alternative options with more positive and reliable reviews.

I don't know anything about the tattoos there but the piercings are TERRIBLE. I was going there for my birthday because my friend was going to pay for me to get my daith. We go in there and they are having this deal where if you are getting a $50 piercing then u can gat another one for free or like a discount but it has to be like on your ear, no like body ones. I only wanted my days but my friend convinced me to get my conch well. But I saw the lady who's going to pierce me and she's very quiet and seems upset(she has the really long nails and that's probably why my piercing didn't go very well is cuz her nails were in the way).So I just assumed she had a bad client so I brush it off and I go in there.I have my friend with me and the is like lay down so I do but then I sit up to talk to my friend to try to convince her to get her septum pierced (thank God she didn't get it pierced). Then she's like I need you to lay down again so I lay down she pierces my conch first and that one was fine except for the the fact that she didn't tell me to like breathe in or out or tell me like a warning or 5 second countdown. She just did it and it HURTS, then she does the daith. She pierces it but she can't get the jewelry in she's like forcing it in and I'm in pain trying not to move and like squeezing my friend's hands to death, and she's like I can't do it cuz you're moving so much. There's so much blood in my ear because of her trying to force the jewelry in. She's blaming it on say that I was moving too much, when her forcing it in my ear and having her a long nails that aren't helping are most likely the reason I do not know because I could not see tho. When it was done I asked my friend if I was moving a lot and she's like no she just couldn't do it and so she blamed it on you. And my friend had to pay for me because I was so pale and I felt like I was going to pass out.

Got a helix piercing a few months ago and the piercer gave me no care instructions and said I could change it in 6 weeks. It's now at an angle and after many many google searches, apparently it takes up to a year before you change it and you aren't supposed to sleep on it! Now I have a crooked piercing and bumpy scarring :(

Mia did an exceptional job making my 10 year old daughter feel comfortable getting her ears pierced. I did a lot of research going into this; calling many piercing shops around the Indy area. Grade A was one of the only ones to answer their phone 😂 $75 for both lobes (including earring) was also the lowest price I could find for a quality piercing. Mia was quick and professional. Highly recommend.

I was a walk-in for a tattoo, but they were unable to get me for a walk-in...fortunately they were able to schedule me for an appointment for the same day. The receptionist, who was also a piercer was fun and the guy who got my daughter and myself scheduled was very nice...Jordyn was our tattoo artist, she listened, she gave me 3 different sizes to choose from, she was quick, friendly, and did an amazing job. I would definitely refer a friend and also I will be back to get another tattoo...mother and daughter tattoo's!

I’ve been pierced multiple times by Shaila and she has always done an amazing job! I also have been tattooed by Isaac and he is amazing. They are both super professional and this location is my go to for piercings and tattoos. I felt very comfortable and got in and out quick! Shaila has even changed my jewelry in a previous piercing for me and made it quick and easy! I have been pierced by a lot of people but Shaila was the one who made me feel the most comfortable and the least painful. If i had any questions about the healing process before, after, and during, Shaila answered them very quickly. I definitely recommend going here for your piercings and tattoos!
