A few years ago, my wife bought me a session with Fait Maison as a birthday gift. I consulted with Ali, she designed and worked on 3 fine line tattoos. Since then, my last 5 tattoos have all been done with Fait Maison, 4 by Ali and one by another traveling artist. Ali and the shop are my go to place for any tattoo ideas.

This review is long overdue. I love Fait Maison and the artists there! Shoutout to Sag and Mars, they are incredible tattooists. Both have their own distinct styles and I'm honored to have been tatted by these two. Mars is so talented and I went to her for the first time because of her beautiful designs for AAPI Heritage Month in 2023. She is very insightful and she understood immediately what I was trying to go for artistically with the design I showed her. I have been a long-time fan of Sag as a tattooist ever since I came across Fait Maison's Instagram profile around 2021-2022. Love the story behind the come-up of their shop. Sag's style is what I am more inclined to like when looking up tattoo ideas, and I am so happy to have found their shop because of the proximity of their Bayonne location to me. He is absolutely very talented and I was already planning to get my next tattoo with him while I was there being tatted by him for the first time last year. Next on the agenda is definitely to try their hair salon. Can't wait to try their Newark location! One thing for sure is I will be coming back for some more. I love the tattoos I got at Fait Maison! The entire process was easy, from filling out the inquiry, texting about the design and scheduling, and the actual appointment itself. Sag did an amazing job!

The business was very kind and welcoming! They offered me and my friend, who was there with me as a guest, water when we first came in! The whole place was very warm and bright. It was relaxing, aesthetic, and more importantly it was a safe environment! My friend and I were given anime stickers after my session and it was so nice and cute! I am definitely going back for my next tattoo :) Ali was my tattoo artist for my first tattoo! She was very kind and assuring, educational and social! She assisted me in picking out what size would be best for my tattoo as I wasn't so sure at first, but she was patient and understanding with me! I loved how she talked to me about the entire process of tattooing, and we even discussed the topic of anime since she does anime tattoos and watches anime! It made the entire experience fun and there was no need to be nervous at all; she did my first tattoo perfectly... exactly how I wanted it to be! Definitely make an appointment with her if you like her art portfolio!

10 out of 10 Would Recommend! From inquiry to tattoo session, I found the staff to be very helpful, friendly and responsive. Nikko was my artist and he went above and beyond! I was really impressed with his attention to detail and the care he took with making sure above all else I was comfortable. The best part... It didn't feel like he was scrapping or raking my skin. I barely felt the pressure or buzz of the needle. Well, I did have on noise canceling headphones...LOL All in all a great experience, clean shop, calm atmosphere and lots of positive energy! Get your next tattoo here, I 1000% recommend Nikko :)
