Formerly known as Glory Days, this studio has garnered significant positive feedback for its talented artists, professional piercer, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional value.

Prospective clients can contact Fair Trade Tattooers by phone at (919) 243-8088 or via their mobile number, +1 919-243-8088. These contact details are essential for local users who wish to inquire about the diverse range of services offered, discuss their tattoo or piercing ideas, get detailed pricing information, or schedule an appointment with one of their skilled artists or the knowledgeable piercer. Direct communication will allow potential clients to understand the studio's capabilities and find the best fit for their individual body art aspirations.

The wealth of positive customer reviews provides compelling insights into the environment, services, and unique features of Fair Trade Tattooers. One long-term tattoo enthusiast with over 14 years of experience across various shops and states unequivocally recommends this studio, stating, "I can't say enough about these guys. Every artist in this shop is amazing. The guys are laid back but professional." This speaks volumes about the consistent quality of artistry across the entire team and the comfortable yet professional atmosphere that clients can expect.

Another reviewer shared a particularly positive experience with an artist named Sam, who took a "loose concept" and masterfully recreated it, exceeding the client's expectations. The reviewer lauded Sam's "incredible understanding of anatomy and art," emphasizing the "impeccable" line work and shading. The fact that the client's unfinished sleeve already draws attention and inquiries from others underscores the exceptional quality of the work produced at Fair Trade Tattooers. This highlights the studio's ability to handle custom designs with a high degree of artistic skill and anatomical awareness.

A unique feature of Fair Trade Tattooers, as highlighted in a review, is the counter person, Ray, who also serves as the resident piercer. Unlike many tattoo shops where the front desk staff may have limited knowledge of the art itself, Ray possesses a significant understanding of tattoos and can provide valuable information even before a client consults with an artist. This is particularly beneficial for individuals who may be hesitant, shy, or unsure about the process, offering a welcoming and informative first point of contact. The same reviewer also attests to Ray's professionalism and knowledge in all aspects of piercing, having been pierced by him on multiple occasions.

The reviews collectively suggest that Fair Trade Tattooers caters to a wide range of clients, from those seeking their first tattoo to seasoned collectors. The consistent recommendation for "anyone looking to get quality work" is a strong testament to the studio's commitment to excellence. Perhaps one of the most striking features mentioned is the surprisingly affordable pricing, with one reviewer stating that clients get "way more for your money here than I've ever seen anywhere else." This combination of high-quality work and reasonable prices makes Fair Trade Tattooers an exceptionally attractive option for local users.

Further positive feedback comes from a client who had their belly button pierced at the studio (under its former name, Glory Days). They described a "great experience," highlighting the professionalism and reassuring nature of the staff, particularly when the client was nervous. The piercing process was reported as "pretty painless," and the aftercare was smooth, with the client experiencing no pain after a short period and being able to change the jewelry without issues within a few weeks. This positive piercing experience, coupled with the reviewer's father also being pleased with his tattoo from the same establishment, reinforces the studio's reputation for quality across different body art services.

An additional review, added several years later under the new name Fair Trade Tattooers, recounts a positive walk-in tattoo experience. Although the reviewer didn't recall the artist's name due to the brief nature of the session, they noted that "everyone there was really nice and professional" and that the artist who did their tattoo had "some great original art" and was "clearly very talented." This suggests that even for quick, spontaneous tattoos, clients can expect a high level of professionalism and artistic skill.

Based on these comprehensive reviews, the environment at Fair Trade Tattooers is characterized by a laid-back yet professional atmosphere. The staff are consistently described as friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. The presence of a piercer who is also knowledgeable about tattoos adds a unique and valuable dimension to the customer service experience. The studio appears to prioritize both the quality of the artwork and the comfort and well-being of their clients.

The services offered at Fair Trade Tattooers encompass a wide range of tattooing styles, with evidence of expertise in custom designs, intricate line work, and detailed shading. The positive feedback on walk-in tattoos also suggests the studio can accommodate various needs and timeframes. In addition to tattooing, professional piercing services are readily available, with a knowledgeable and experienced piercer on staff who provides clear aftercare instructions and ensures a comfortable experience.

Key features of Fair Trade Tattooers include a team of highly talented and experienced tattoo artists, a knowledgeable and professional piercer, a welcoming and laid-back yet professional environment, the ability to handle custom tattoo designs with exceptional skill, a commitment to high-quality work, and surprisingly affordable prices that offer excellent value for money. I have been getting tattoo's for over 14 years in different shops and in different states. I can't say enough about these guys. Every artist in this shop is amazing. The guys are laid back but professional. My latest piece was a loose concept I had that Sam recreated in his own image and I couldn't be happier so far. He has an incredible understanding of anatomy and art, the line work and shading is impeccable. My sleeve isn't even half finished and people stop me everywhere asking where I got it done. Unlike most shops, the counter guy, Ray, who is the resident piercer also knows a lot about tattoos and can help you with a lot of information before you even need to involve an artist which is nice if you are hesitant or shy. Ray has also pierced me on several occasions and is incredibly professional and knowledgeable in all aspects. Whether you are looking to get your first tattoo or 20th, I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get quality work at quite honestly ridiculously low prices. You get way more for your money here than I've ever seen anywhere else.

I got my belly button pierced at Glory Days roughly 5 weeks ago and it was a great experience. I walked in, picked my ring, and got it pierced. Everyone was very professional and reassuring. I was really nervose and it was comforting to have someone tell me that everything will be fine. It was pretty painless. It was a 3 or 4 out of 10 on pain and less than four hours later I felt no pain. After 2 weeks I was even able to sleep on my stomach if I wanted. Now after having it for 5 weeks I have changed the ring with no pain (at 4 weeks) have not felt any pain for1-3 weeks now. My father also go a tattoo at Glory days and was very pleased with it. Glory Days it very well priced and thats one of the reasons I went there. There was not one thing I would change about the experience. EDIT: adding this about 4 years later. got tattooed here about 10 months ago (now fair trade tattoo). I dont remember who did my tattoo because it was a walk in and took all of 5 mins. everyone there was really nice and professional. the guy who did my tattoo had some great original art. he was clearly very talented

I took my daughter her to get her ears peirced. They fully explained what they were going to do, made her comfortable and made her feel very special, which for an 8 year old girl getting this done for the first time was real important. This place was clean, friendly, informative, professional and very kind to me and my daughter. I wouldn't go anywhere else and would recommend this business to everyone.

Worst experience in peircing EVER!! Had both nipples peirced in 2013 and they were inserted with external threaded needles which caused an inflamed mass in my right breast and I had to have it surgically removed.
