From my very first phone call, Jae was warm, professional, and genuinely engaged—which set the tone for the whole experience. I came in to have two older tattoos refreshed, and he absolutely nailed it. Jae is not only a delight to talk to, he’s also super talented. You can tell he really knows his craft, from design through to execution. The pain was minimal, and the whole process was smooth, relaxed, and even fun. If you’re in Brooklyn—or even if you’re not—make Electric Lotus a destination. I highly recommend it. You’ll walk away with great ink and an even better story.

Last week, I went to Electric Lotus Tattoo in Brooklyn to get some new ink. I chatted with Jae about a Grateful Dead-themed tattoo that reflected my passion for vinyl records and music, and he crafted a design that I absolutely loved. The final result was incredible. Jae shares wonderful stories, has great music playing in the background, and creates a calming atmosphere that enhances the whole experience and that is why I keep coming back. ✌️🌹

An amazing place and friendly people. Jae did a tree tattoo for me and I went back 3 more times to build around it. I referred a friend who was in town for a while and she has been so happy with her tattoo. I’ve received many compliments on my tattoos and will refer anyone to Electric Lotus. I keep telling myself I’m done but all ready have another idea brewing in my head. I’m sure I’ll be seeing Jae again soon.

If you are in search like I was for a tattoo shop, look no further than ELECTRIC LOTUS. This is THE shop you need. Not only is the owner Jae the coolest tattoo artist that you will ever meet, he also has the experience. His staff is so patient and understanding and willing to work with you in your needs. My first tattoo was with Mars and she is an absolute sweetheart. 5 days later I got my second tattoo from the owner Jae, and what can I say, I was satisfied during both sessions. Yes! Five days later that’s just how awesome this team is. This is my go to shop for my tattoo passions and ideas. I would recommend them to everyone, including the person reading this review. Trust me you won’t regret it.
