Josh Arseneau has been my artist for years - he’s done my full sleeve and my thigh piece and I cannot recommend him & Electric Anvil enough! He’s fast, efficient, and his work is STELLAR. I constantly get comments on my art everywhere I go & I always recommend Josh and Electric Anvil. Dope group of artist and a welcoming, non judgmental, & clean space. Highly recommend.

got my bridge pierced there yesterday and they were so friendly! :’) good vibes all around, Victor did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and took the time to get the placement really solid. I love my new piercing, I’ve gotten plenty and this was one of my better experiences!!! Many thanks Electric Anvil team

Came here to get a piercing removed that was starting to cause a bump (he said it was a buildup of collagen). HIGHLY appreciated my guy just being honest with me and recommended I take it out and let my skin heal rather than push a sale on me and put my skin through more trauma. I also have friends that have come here and had positive experiences for both tattoos and piercings. I paid a small fee for the removal but I do know this place can be a bit pricy for the jewelry (but in my opinion it’s probably worth it!)

THE WORST COMMMUNICATION!! Something is up with this place, the vibe is incredibly bad. I suspect this is the kind of studio that cycles through new artists at a high turnover, giving them initial experience, but making that experience tense and disappointing for both artists and clients. Like some other one star reviewers, I got a very small, simple tattoo (my first) at Electric Anvil and came back for a custom piece. Our cat who had just passed, was a tortoiseshell and I wanted a paw print with the unique coloration of her skin (looked a little like a black and white cookie). I emailed the studio in advance with extensive pictures and concerns, asking if they thought it was possible. The receptionist agreed it would be, but when we arrived it was apparent that the artist had not even been shown the email, let alone familiarized themselves with it. I should have just walked away then, but I was too nervous and felt committed. They did not ask any questions about coloration or design, just reassured me they knew what they were doing. They used way too much pink, the patterning is VERY loosely similar to my cat's paw, but overall I was very disappointed in the color/design and even moreso in the lack of communication. There were also places where the tattoo was deeply painful, like the artist had gone over the same spot with the multi-needle attachment several times and essentially gauged into my thigh. After the tattoo was finished, the artist... disappeared. Immediately went to the back room before I could even make sure my venmo had gone through. It felt like they didn't want to wait for me to look at my new ink too hard. They also bandaged me with something like a menstrual pad rather than a second skin, which felt both cumbersome and less hygienic. As the tattoo has healed in the last year it has become heavily scarred, raised tissue; the color has softened somewhat, but the lines are very shaky in some places and I still intend to have it color corrected. Definitely not here tho.

Clean, friendly shop with gorgeous flash and good vibes. My artist Innes Mullen was extremely kind and professional and I couldn't be happier with my tattoo :)
