This place is a safe space for everyone entering the establishment. I've had multiple piercing services here. I have always been treated warmly and with respect. I had expressed my want to cover up a horrible tattoo on my left hand. Tara came into my session, and we discussed what could go there. I expressed to her my discontent of constantly being offered a feather or some form of flower. She did say that would be the less invasive tattoo for a cover-up, especially of the location on the hand. She gave me her business card with email and asked me to shoot her some ideas and we see what we can come up with. I sent her pictures inspired by my Taino ancestry, but I was dreaming too big, and she quickly got me together. Said let's schedule an in-person consult and throw ideas around and see what we get. I agreed! She rook the time to educate me on what I had initially thought I wanted and showed me how it would sit on my hand digitally. She was right! Hot mess! But since I already han a Taino theme on my arm, I chose to stay with it. We agreed to a coquí a frog indigenous to PuertoRico. She also avised my best bet is to have my coqui on some greenery to give it depth so it didn't look so 2D. We agreed on a wreath. I did not want a fern like we had seen on some inspo pictures. I opted for a Mori Vivir. That i guess could be in the fern family. But it also grows in PuertoRico. You touch it and it closes its pedals. It was perfect She chose some full, open, some semi closed and we where almost complete. It was missing something still I asked to throw some bamboo in the back of the coqui to give it a background. BOOM! it was complete the tattoo I wanted covered was gone. I didn't settle for a piece I didn't want. I left my down payment and she scheduled me within the week! Tattoo day came she was as sweet and professional as EVER! EVERYTHING was clean and new out the packaging. Not gonna lie when we put the stencil on i was scared because it was just the outline. But I trusted her and the process and it came out better then I could have hoped! We had great conversation she made me feel comfortable and we laughed shared stories, cureent events even some literature taste we share. Before I knew it PEPE the coqui came to life! He is beautiful in his small piece of paradise on my hand. This was a great experience i plan to return to close some gaps in my sleeve and I couldn't think of a better collaborator to do that with than Tara! Thank you for being who you are, taking your time, learning some new things about my culture and for giving me this bomb tattoo! I will see you soon girl!

Went there about a week ago to get several ear piercings, but Jessica explained that I could only get so many piercings at once b/c it could be too much for my body. I got 2 extra piercings in each lobe (so that I have 4 in each lobe) and the "orbital", which is at the top of the ear on only one side. Thank God she suggested just the one side b/c I can't sleep on that side w/ the orbital piercing yet. Jessica is very patient and knowledgeable. I'll be seeing her soon for more ear piercings!

From the first meeting where we discussed the idea of what I wanted, you were professional, easy to communicate with, and made me feel confident you would deliver this tattoo that honors my faith and my mom and dad.
