  This was hands down the best experience I’ve had getting a tattoo. Jessie was so relaxing to be around and made sure I was comfortable and knew exactly what she was doing. She even touched up an old tattoo I had for free because it needed a touch up. The place was spotless and everyone was just so nice. Jessie is a remarkable tattoo artist and I think I found my forever artist for all my future tattoos. Thank you so much for the amazing experience!!!

  If you’re looking for an incredible tattoo shop with a welcoming atmosphere, and true professionals who care about their craft, go to Blue Bird Tattoo! From the moment my best friend and I walked in, we were treated with kindness, expertise, and genuine enthusiasm for our ideas. They're hilarious, have great music, and I was highly impressed! We originally came in for a small best friend tattoo on our fingers—just the word "Life"—and were lucky enough to meet Jessie, the amazing and insanely talented shop owner. We were also originally suppose to go to another shop a few minutes away, but they weren't open and also didn't take our appointment (their hours didn't match what they posted--annoying...). Jessie took the time to offer us some fantastic advice from personal experience, which really made a difference in how we approached our tattoos. It’s rare to find a shop owner who is so hands-on and invested in making sure clients get exactly what they want while also providing expert guidance! For our walk-in, I had the absolute pleasure of getting tattooed by Laura, who is truly ICONIC. Her precision, artistry, and attention to detail blew me away. She took such great care with my piece that I immediately knew I had to come back. Before I left, I booked an appointment and put down a deposit for a larger snake tattoo, and let me tell you—it was the best decision ever! Both tattoos turned out amazing, and I cannot wait to return for more work. The shop itself is immaculate—seriously, one of the cleanest tattoo studios I’ve ever seen. They’re incredibly professional, fair with their pricing, and they genuinely care about their clients and the work they put on their bodies. They work with you on your design and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it, and made sure I was absolutely sure about my decision. The vibe is also top-tier: super chill, great music, and an inclusive environment. The artists give solid advice when needed but always respect your vision, making sure you walk out with a tattoo you’ll love forever. I can’t recommend Blue Bird Tattoo enough! Whether you’re a first-timer, getting a small walk-in piece, or planning a big custom design, this is the place to go. I've gotten so many compliments already on both pieces (the finger and the snake), and both are just healing, haha. Can't wait to see them fully healed!   Stumbled upon this gem, in jersey city. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had, Jesse was super attentive, very knowledgeable and professional of her craft. The shop had amazing energy, was very classy and clean. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend Love my tattoo

  Jessie is a phenomenal artist with such a great energy! The shop is very clean with a chill atmosphere. My whole experience was super quick and easy. The attention to detail is impeccable! If you want someone with a marvelous work ethic, loads of experience and great attitude, come here man. This was my first tattoo ever and my experience has been nothing short of wonderful!

  My husband and I had a great experience at Blue Bird - my husband had a tattoo updated, I had a new piece added to my shoulder, and we both had a drawing that our son made inked on us. Jessie did everything and was so great to work with - she took an inspiration picture I had for my piece and cleaned it up so that it would work better. The shop is spotless and they were happy to let our five-year-old wait on the couch with his tablet. My husband already has a an appointment booked next month to update and expand another tattoo of his with Jessie. Highly recommend Blue Bird especially if you want to support a local business!
