I went to go get some tattoos and there was no one at the front desk. I had to text the tattoo artist to get some to give me my tattoo firm. My artist was late and offered a discount because they were late to the appointment while charging me the full price, it was supposed to be $300 and then they charged me $450 for the tattoo. The artist messed up my tattoo and the ink started to fade. I went to get it fixed and it still looks messed up. This is the second time. Now the third time with the same tattoo that got messed up. The artist said 6:30 pm is the time of my appointment and I’m waiting here almost to 7:20 pm to have the artist fixed the tattoo and still nothing. This is so unprofessional.

I really didn't want to leave a negative review but I am pretty disappointed with my experience here. A lot of the reviews are months old so I decided to give this shop a try and I definitely regret it. I booked an appointment for a piece relatively quickly and the artist (Mike) was responsive. We had an appointment that got pushed earlier the day of (which was not a big deal). I get there and the vibes are good, but I end up waiting almost two hours to actually get the tattoo started. It took about 40 mins to get in the chair.A few of the artists had gone in the back with the customers and I'm almost certain were smoking weed which took another hour! I was willing to let it go because everyone was chill and friendly. But the actual tattoo itself was honestly hell. I've had quite a few and none hurt as badly as the one I got here. It was a large piece as well. Then come to find out it would have to be split into two sessions (pretty sure because he took so long starting and another customer was waiting). We agreed to meet again the following week. The next week, I was in IMMENSE pain. I cleaned and kept the area moisturized, but it was clear that he had gone too deep for large areas. It took a little over a week for the pain to finally go away and I still have some scarring and blowout over a month later. Not to mention, it's been next to impossible to schedule a follow up. The initial second session was pushed back due to healing which, fine. But the communication has been really bad. I wouldn't get a reply for days on when I could get the tattoo finished and when we did have a date, it would get postponed last minute. At this point, I'm just gonna find a new artist to finish the job. It's crazy because other reviews mention this same pattern of behavior. It just feels really upsetting because I was quite optimistic especially supporting a black business in Harlem, but now I kinda feel like I've been robbed and left with an unfinished tattoo that causes bruising and scarring on my skin that I have to spend hundreds of dollars now to get redid.

Terrible communication skills. I filled out their form online for my first tattoo and stated I will be traveling to NYC to get the tattoo. A few days go by and I get an email asking me to come in for consultation when I'm not even in NYC. So that also means they can't read. I commented on their Instagram post to respond back to my inquiry... no answer. I called them and spoke to a young woman and she asked me the same questions that was on the form on their site. She said she will get back to me and never did. Idk what's up with these people but if they can't respond to a simple form it's clear they are incompetent or don't care about their new customers.

Fantastic experience. True did wonderful work on my calfs, Tank did beautiful work on husband's leg. Shelby was so good at helping us maneuver our visit. Thank you all so much. It was lovely meeting everyone. We will be back for more art the next time we are in the area. 🥰🥰🥰
